An Appeal (1 Viewer)

I try to donate as much as I can to various charities- I’ve had an appeal sent through from a medical assistance charity (very well known in the area) who require urgent assistance.

I am going to make a suggestion. Would people be prepared to donate £10 in a fund to support the charity and have an entry into a quiz? I will donate £100 to the winner in ccfc shop vouchers.

To make it work for the charity I will need clearly a reasonable number of committed people to enter this - I’m just exploring opinions at this stage

I'm not up for a quiz but happy to come in on some sort of raffle - but count me in

Is the name of the charity a secret?

I admire your philanthropist spirit.

As others have commented, the actual charity of choice is a critical piece of information for an informed decision.

Peace to you, Mr. Grendel.

Looks like I have a free run at the quiz. £10 for a guaranteed £100 at the club shop, so I'm definitely in!

* as long as this isn't a Doug special voucher like Leeds last season where I have to spend £500 to use it, no sale items, add delivery charges and fees and be accompanied by all 8 living great-grandparents.

There’s no real secret I was just waiting for the official announcement - it’s Myton and they need urgent funds due to reduced nhs funding and escalation of people in need of care

Thank you G. I hope I did not accidently imply or have you infer anything untoward about the question. Best wishes and best of luck in your endeavor.

Are we talking about Myton Hospice? You can donate directly on their web page.

Clearly but there’s a special campaign now to raise £250,000
