An awful thought (1 Viewer)

Perhaps I am worrying a little bit too much but do people think there is a slight chance now that the Orange one could be after the manager's job?Why else this sudden supposed interest in footballing matters?Of course he would also be the cheapest option for SISU as he wouldn't have to be paid anything extra. You would probably see a walkout of all senior players (not just Clingan and Cranie but the likes of McSheffrey,Keogh,Wood etc) and we will be left with a youth team. If SISU don't care one jot about the football and merely want to asset strip what more effective way of doing this than put a completely footballing novice in charge so the players and the coaching staff resign en masse?I sincerely hope that I am wrong here and this couldn't happen but after yesterday I wouldn't rule it out.If it did happen I think no one would take CCFC seriously again and it would be the death of the club.

I have been thinking this ever since he became director of football operations or whatever the title is. I seriously think Sisu are running us like this as one big piss take....

its an absolutely awful position we are in.

Just think it's a way of getting AT to resign myself, don't think even they are that foolish.:thinking about:

It was a disgrace that Orange Ken was in the dugout yesterday! It is undermining Andy Thorn, if Sun-tan man became manager, I would never go to a game while he was in charge! SISU OUT!

great, think of the money we will save on a manager, makes economic sense. we will keep on losing but the losses will be reduced. someone should show him how to work the mower as well, and shove a brush up his ass and he can clean the stadium. better still, player manager, perfect.

All the conspiracy theories about why they are doing this are missing the bleeding-obvious. They aren't doing this because they have s special secret plan in mind. They are doing this because they don't have a clue about "soccer" (ahem).

Most of us know something about the game, and love it passionately. To our eyes, we look at KD in the dugout and changing rooms and think "why are they doing this? He doesn't know anything about football, how can he help? He must be either spying on AT or trying to force him into resigning!".

You are crediting them with way too much intelligence. It's precisely because they are so clueless about the game that they somehow see this as a positive move, that Ken might inspire a turn around and a fresh perspective, that he's a "frontline leader" and "mucking in, all hands on deck"!. After all, to SISU eyes he's done a quite fantastic job-why can't he turn his skill, acumen, and motivational brilliance to helping out the manager?!?

Remember Thorn talking about the young and threadbare squad and saying "we need help?" Well, Ken on the bench is the help SISU have offered in response!

Never mind what football knowledge SISU do or don't have, a senior executive spying on or micro-managing the manager (whatever he is up to) is one of the most demotivational moves anyone could conceive of.

if tango man carries on with this then we should all sit in block 1 next home game and hound the bastard out of town, even storm the dugout if we have to, im still absoloutely seething.

think il have to make another banner now with tango man out or sumet.

A fear he will be another in a long line of recent managers with little football knowledge

I'd take the "Dream Team" combo of McAllister, Reid and Butcher in joint-command over that orange git any day!
