And there are still 1 or 2 SISU lovers out there - incredible. (1 Viewer)

God I hate singling people out, but even Godiva has criticised them at times too and, more importantly, has been pretty polite in his talk all the way through.

At least, even in his most pro-Sisu days, you could always have a sensible debate with him.

Unlike quite a few of the more rabid Sisu sympathisers, who strangely enough are still as resistant to debate now that they are some of the most rabid anti-Sisu protestors.

A modicum of intelligence and politeness goes a long way to expand a debate, and open minds(mine too, not always right myself).

Shouting down of a minority view mindlessly(even if that view is one I'm opposed to), I have never liked or subscibed to.

How can they get the Ricoh on the cheap when they'll have lots of other sports clubs and year round concerts at the Ricoh making it a far more viable proposition without the club than with it?

It is looking likely that we'll soon be on the path to finding out whether ACL can survive without the football club and whether what appears to be a Sisu gamble will work. Are you happy Sisu seem to be betting with the football club?

No, but then again I've never said that the Arena will be better off without the club.

Don't get me wrong he's a brilliant poster NW...very articulate and reasoned but I've not seen anyone back them so much on any forum and right from the start...and we are going back years now. As I've said to him I've never really seen him criticise SISU at all only ACL /CCC....that's not a criticism because we are all entitled to our opinions but it's just the way I perceive things. I know it's wrong to name anyone but I genuinely think that one thing that's happened over the last few weeks is that people are seeing there are faults on all sides....I certainly have seen that where I probably was a little blinkered before although I'm unchanged as to where I think most of the fault lies. I just haven't seen any evidence of that from the posters I mentioned. Take yourself for example! I was wrong completely at first and I have to say over the last few weeks I've agreed with most of your posts! Wonders never cease hey?!

Very true mate...very true! Although I think you're stretching things more than a little when you say we've been having fun! The thing that unites us all on this board apart from our love of all things CCFC is that the last few weeks has got to be the toughest in our city supporting career, however long that's been.

They aren't giving up everything are they? They have offered reduced and sensible rent.

They don't sign the CVA, 15 point deduction, long investigation, no chance of playing at the Ricoh, embargo will probably be longer and we'll get relegated.
I have not said ACL are giving up everything but if they sign the CVA without getting at least something back thet would be it,there would be no return for the club ,in getting this guarantee then it brings CCFC back to the Ricoh and back to Coventry immediately even the most tunnel visioned SISU supporter must be able to see that.
The way SISU are performing and given reduced income at Northampton relegation is a strong possibility without a 15 point reduction.
as far as I can see there is only one side that needs to move in their stance, so look at it as SISU are bringing on the 15 point deduction and relegation as they are ,for whatever reason, the unwilling party in all this.

Why would signing the CVA mean not return for he club?

What if the club agree to come back then ACL still reject the CVA? PWKH had already been on the radio saying they wanted to reject it.

How's the hangover 'Mohammed I'm Hard Bruce Lee'

If it rants in such an abusive manner as a result of alcohol...maybe stop drinking alcohol is the answer, as it obviously doesn't make them feel good...& makes them look & sound pretty pathetic.

But alcohol in general is fantastic though.

Matty's veering close to one of those Twitter lynch mob vigilantes who end up smashing a doctor's house up because they heard a paediatrician live there.

So as predicted their bluff has been called and they have shown their true colours - the offer of ridiculously low rent dismissed in 24 hours. Yet Grendel and co still suggest it is ACL/CCC who have something to hide - quite incredible.

ACL have just shown once and for all that SISU scum don't give a shit about CCFC and certainly not the fans - and just want to get their hands on the stadium through nefarious means.

There is nothing but complete surrender we could offer this scum - to use the words of Paisley (sorry) There shall be no surrender !!

I did say sorry for quoting him - kind of indicating that I realised he is a bigoted orange tw*t - but I was tired, nursing baby to sleep and it was the best I could come up with at that point in time!! I apologise again just for you.

I find it incredible that there are people STILL trying to point the finger, intimidate, accuse, ridicule etc. others simply for having a different point of view.
Some "SISU lovers" do not love them at all but often offer a more balanced opinion/view than some of the vindictive nonsense that resembles "Animal Farm" & the SISU - bad, anti-SISU - good approach.
I encourage everyone to be more open minded - is there anyone that is still blind to the fact that SISU are actually right in their wanting to unite club & stadium & the revenue therein genrated???
If YOU (reading this are one that does) you need to get real! Revenue via the current Ricoh lease/arrangement is next to nothing & will not sustain a FL club.
Methods, ambitions (non-CCFC related i.e. money related instead) of SISU I find abhorrent - the principle of what they are saying seems spot on.
I went from defending SISU around the start of 2012 to dislike & through to wanting them out at admin.
The fact is is they are here & seemingly here to stay. We have not beaten them...maybe many ought to soften their approach to them (a subtle...but not full-on...JOIN them!!!) ignore them & get behind the team - just ignore the behind the scenes stuff. It'll just happen regardless of the fans' wants & emotions.

i totaly agree, there are some fans on here who simply do not know how to debate without turning the forum into a twatfest. i just got called c-n- and every other swear word you can think of for pointing out the councils misgivings in the case of the child being murdered in coventry - and that Geoffery Osbourne M.P was blaming the councils beuracracy and the fact that the council have headscrewed our fans with spin regards Sisu moral compass!! either way i believe this wil spill over onto the terraces soon enough and then we really will become the most unpopular club in the country.

I support CCFC and i support Sisu. i am a sisu sky blue

you would definately get sued. and this site would face litigation. remember the telegraph forum???? that closed because some idiots started naming and placing the address of a wum on the forum, hence a civil action was started. the telegraph didnt report that did they, i know due to a close relative at the telegraph
