She (wrongly) took some flak from our fans for walking away from the club after we signed King. That completely poisoned her against the club and everything she's done since is pure spite.

This was announced last year when she was put in as Deputy Lord Mayor. People knew she'd be in charge for City of Culture year. And there's a few soundbites around Feb last year saying she wanted Cov back in Cov.

"This deal would not have happened if it threatened the future of the Sky Blues or Coventry Rugby Club.

"This is the most important decision this council has ever made about the future of one of its best community assets and we would not have made it unless we were confident it was the right thing to do."

When they have the ceremony to make her mayor someone should get a big projector and have that beamed onto wherever it is the ceremony takes place.

What a marvellous democracy it is that an old has been like Lucas can be granted this position

It still makes me chuckle when she described a vote on the WMCA as, 'populist' in the council house, and then came up with hum-dinger of saying we didn't need a vote on the WMCA because all the power is coming down from central Government, not upwards from CCC. Then on the day CCC said they were going to join the WMCA, they passed power upwards to WMCA necessitating that they did actually need to put it to a Public vote after all.

Some of her own colleagues in Coventry Labour even described her style of leadership as ‘autocratic’, ‘dogmatic’ and ‘undemocratic’ when they started to get rid of her as leader.
