I don't need a crystal ball to know what would happen if they ever got their hands on the Ricoh and so do you.Unless you have a crystal ball, you don't actually know, do you?
Hey, I think they're greedy scumbags as well, and I certainly know how hedge funds operate, but nobody can say what they will do because there's no evidence, is there? They are unwilling to share such information, if they even have it themselves, with us plebs.

I think we have learnt to not try and predict what sisu do as they are a bit un predictable.

You know very well what will happen and will ot be good news for CCFCNo. I don't "know".
I have a theory. My theory is that if they own the ground we still won't really benefit from it very much. We'll probably end up still renting our own ground (albeit for less than a million quid a bloody season) and won't enjoy all the revenue benefits while SISU take a percentage for themselves as "return on their investment".
Unless they come out and say that this is what they intend to do though, or until it actually happens, it is a theory, nothing more.
Edit.....notYou know very well what will happen and will ot be good news for CCFC
If you didnt like the thread why did you bother posting.
I agree that the club should be in Coventry....I thought you did too, so there is relevance in the post. You are just being a grumpy t**t.
Sisu own the club. Sisu are a mercenary hedge fund so I'd expect them to charge rent. Ten times the league average like the caring sharing council? Who knows.
Pointless discussion though - the thread is a simple judgement. Do you want the club back in Coventry whatever the consequence for all other parties? I do.

You really are a hypocrite and incapable of serious debate !!!!!!!
All the the Tony's, James, letsalltalkbollocks, bigfatron, garypendry, not very astute would rather we stay in Northampton. Pendry lives in Spain so won't go anyway and James never leaves his £1 million house unless the legends play so I guess they have an excuse - they never go anyway.
You do. Because you don't know, you're guessing. City could stay in Nirthampton because of your paranoia.
You would f*** your club up for the long term for a quick fix just to get your team back in Cov. Im prepared to be patient until a long term deal which gives the club a chance of a long term sustainable future can be agreed. I dont think giving the freehold to SISU is that. I dont think handing over the freehold of the RIcoh to SISU would achieve that

I've said countless times with caveats of some kind.
Some moan about Northampton but would rather their team stayed there.

what are these caveats? SISU seem to want the freehold on their own terms and nothing else. I wouldnt agree to giving them the freehold. Anything else is up for discussion, but you have to watch the slippery bastards who seem able to move assets between companies at will

I take it you will be on the council march ????
Just need to know so i can be ready with my sarcastic comments !!!
I would like to know what can be hoped to achieved other than a bit of comedy value ?
I do wonder if those who want sisu to own the ground (it will be sisu remember, not ccfc) are the same fans who were begging the council to build a stadium 10 years ago? The council should have told the club to do one back then, administration would have followed but the club would have owned half the project.
The club under the vile Robinson and sisu ownership has tried to emotionally blackmail the Coventry taxpayer. Disgraceful really from a supposed community club.
Short term thinking like this is what has practically killed Coventry City. Yes we all want the club back, but if the situation just changes from the council being stadium owner to sisu being owner then what's the point?
This mess needs sorting out one and for all. If the club has to have a landlord I trust the collective representative of the Coventry people over a dodgy out of town hedge fund any day.
I didn't want a new stadium. Yes the Council should have told us to fuck off. After all it's the council we care for most, isn't it?
The scenario would be the same regardless of who owns us. The Club will never own it's own stadium again.

So our club won't ever own our own ground ever again as CCC don't want to be ripped off by a hedge fund?
I would go as far as saying we will never own our own ground again if SISU get the freehold.
We wouldn't if Haskell or any other business owner purchased the free hold either.
I agree vor, want to see sky blues back in cov if sisu are prepared to pay for the ricoh ok, if they then they sell and "do one ", perfect !Trying to be objective and realistic (bearing in mind I support NOPM and KCIC ) I feel the only way out of this is for ACL and CCC to sell the Ricoh to SISU - I don't want SISU as owners, but I think it is the only way out. If SISU owns the whole lot, hopefully they will then sell to someone else. I don't want a "new" tin pot Stadium. Unless SISU own the Ricoh we are stuck with them - and Northampton. Hurts me to say this, but pressure should also be put equally on ACL, CCC and SISU.

I dont care
a and follow NOPM in an effort to force out the worst owners in football history before our club goes out of existence.
I would prefer to have the chance of someone uniting our club and ground. We know that SISU would keep them separate.
It will go out of existence far quicker if people don't give them cash...
Try and deny that all you like, but it's a truth that business without income, and owners unwilling to make up the funding gap = oblivion.
So please, if you think oblivion is preferable, fine (schmeee does for one) but don't try the ridiculous logic that not giving them cash will guarantee they pack up and go home with their tails between their legs!
says who? .
your the one mentioning oblivion not me. by doing research the only way i can see this wont happen is by doing everything to force SISU out. you can take a Neville chamberlin approach if you like, i have realised that the only hope for our club is to be Winston Churchill.
