What's wrong with it? It clearly says it's a Ticketmaster issue in the third paragraph.

My point is, and I know some won't agree but that's the beauty of life - diversity (not the dance act), it feels like the Telegraph think - "is there anything good we can say about Wasps - not at the moment so we won't say anything, even the negative things" but when it comes to the Sky Blues it's "Is it associated in any way shape or form to do with CCFC and is negative, let's report it - even the partners the club has like Ticketmaster."

Tickets for Lincoln were £26 and Accrington was £20. If you were going to both games that's £46 not hundreds.

Unless the suggestion is we've got loads of fans that buy extra tickets and give them away for free. Sounds more like Wasps ticketing strategy than ours.

Only someone desperate to slag off the CT (again) would paint this as an anti-CCFC story. No need to be so precious.

firstly - I'm not desperate to slag off the telegraph (and I don't know where the "again" come from - I don't post on here very often)
secondly - I'm not precious
thirdly - I'm a humble IT Manager and not a literary genius. Please accept my most humble and grovelling apology for putting a misleading title. It wasn't my intention

Once again you jump on to defend the telegraph which is what the majority of your posts are for.

Get the story about the brothel sorted

I'm owed about four hundred quid so yeah, I am literally hundreds pounds out of pocket as the Telegraph say.

I think it's high time the club fucked Ticketmaster off after this latest farce. The way they have handled this is very poor indeed.

The fact that Ticketmaster charge £1 per EVERY ticket.
Our average away attendance this season is 1885. We rarely dont sell out away games. At £1 per ticket its approx £40k per annum just on away tickets only. Add to that our 6k average at home this season. 4k STs so were at £44k. Plus the extra 1k match package holders gets us up to £45k. 1 additional potg and one off buyers at £1 each at £23k.
Without cup games like Blues h&a would of been a good earner, you're looking at approx £68k Ticketmaster make from CCFC per season.
At £1per ticket they made £47k from Wembley alone.
Are you telling me that couldnt pay the wages of 2 full time staff and some office space for CCFC? I pay the £1 fee regardless, if it pays some scouser at ticketmaster, or pays for our OWN ticket office and jobs within the city. I'd much rather the latter.

I don't think its about the staff as we do still employ ticket staff, they make their money on the booking fees and in turn it allows access to their booking systems, call centres etc.

Although it is now showing that the system is shite, remember the last one though? Self hosted thing from 1990's.

That's what I'm getting at, we pay them £60k plus a year for their booking system because our 2 members of staff cant cope. So use the £60k and employ 2 more. I'm pretty sure that 4 members of staff can cope with our demand, and if they cant, maybe they should employ new staff?
I mean, £60k could pay 2 staff member and still have £30k left over to make our own online booking system.

It wasn't the staff that couldn't cope, it was the actual system that couldn't.

The infrastructure needed to cope with Wembley or big game tickets for example wouldn't be cheap at all, you would probably spend close to the 30k on that alone before you even get to the system that's on it.

I can see why people just let Ticketmaster deal with it, not very well in this case though.

Lets not forget this corker from PSB Group, like every great fans group he has lost consistency.

A lot of people buy groups of tickets for their friends. I didn't think of it until someone said on Facebook they'd bought loads for an away game for their group to go, so now they're massively out of pocket.

I get your general point but a couple of staff down the Butts couldn't handle the tickets for a Wembley appearance.
I believe the reason Glastonbury use them is because they're the only ones who have the infrastructure to handle the mad Sunday morning rush for tickets.
