I've started doing something a bit strange, i know that's not like me, but i've started wearing football kit to watch the match in. 30 years of watching them live, not so much as a scarf, but now i'm fucked.
It started off with just some City football socks i got for my birthday in August - as it stands i'm sat here in football socks, shorts, a ccfc bobble hat and a league 1 champions scarf. I'm just the shirt away from being a complete tosser (shirt arrives soon i hope)
It's bizarre behaviour i know, the Mrs thinks it's cute. She's not so keen when i start doing the warm-ups 20 minutes before kick off though. Anyone else quite enjoying watching it from home and not being judged when you dress up like a footballer? Enjoy your night.

Shouldn't this have been posted to 'Dear Deirdre' instead of SBT?

Have you got a small kit for your owl too? And does he get confused wearing sky blue if we're playing Sheffield Wednesday?

That’s quality 😂😂😂
I never wear colours to a live game....what would I do with my Stone island and Aquascutum clobber.???? But like you Greggs I’m wearing City stuff at home.

Sure you know this but the grease stains from your pastry products don’t come out the shirt material. Got Steak Bake all down the front of one 3 weeks ago and you can still see I despite washing several times....any tips?

He'll also need something on his shoulder as the claws are likely to catch on the material and pull it.

When we win games in the championship, I parade round the lounge in just my sky blue socks and waving my sausage around.

Quality @Greggs.

I'm more smart casual listening/watching City but have been known to celebrate on Football Manager after winning a Derby/League/Cup with a nice glass of claret!

***UPDATE*** The Mrs randomly asked me to put the football kit on tonight, i didn't really think it was her thing, but hey-ho give me any excuse at the moment. Sitting there drinking wine and getting revved up - out of nowhere she asks me if i remember John Aloisi - long story short it turns out she shagged him in the VIP toilets at Ikon Nightclub. If anyone is interested in some football socks - shorts - bobble hat and scarf, inbox me as i'm not into that anymore. Never liked that Aloisi bloke, slimey looking.

Ha it has been known - think I may get kitted up a bit for tomorrow whilst making sure I have enough alcohol to cope with the game....reminds me need to get some in for tomorrow! 😬 😬 😬
Was going to say I'll try wearing my kit tomorrow as well....then I read Greggs latest post, nearly wet myself!
Not sure it'll have the same impact on my wife though.

I am sorry to say I wear my lucky shirt, never used to wear it to the ground though. It only became lucky after the checkatrade final game when I did wear it.

it will be on tomorrow
