I was half hoping "apathy" was our new Brazilian goalkeeper
I must admit apathy has well and truly kicked in and probably replaced by resignment. Not bothered about the fixtures, not excited by the start of the season, not bothered about the cup game, sick of losing good players, don't want to travel 30 miles to a home game and sick of the infighting between fans. The club is a ill patient stuck in a coma, they need to either wake us up or pull the friggin plug as I have lost the will to live with it all now!!!
"We've done that for years" says many.
"But haven't we always replaced them for years until recently?" is my question to those who say this.
I di go to two games away with suffolkskyblue which I enjoyed very very much, both he and his son were an absolute delight to be with, my apathy is about the club I grew up supporting, a club that was everything to me and dictated what I did most weekends and dictated how I felt the following 2/3 days after a match, I can never see me being so involved emotionally again like I was up to about 3 years ago.
I do not like our owners, I do not like how they do business, not just the footballing side, and I have a real dislike for Mr Fisher, who should never be near a football club let alone mine.
The lies/deceit and BS in the end take there toll on most of those who once loved this club.
I absolute hate to see the state this club is in, we are a complete and utter laughing stock, a once proud club is seen as a complete joke of a club by other clubs fans, even now most supporters of other clubs on the other sites I go on have been calling us Covhampton all season and ridicule what we have become ,dismissing us as no threat at all to doing well this season,again, and that is not nice to see/hear.
My poor late father would be turning in his grave to see the mess we are in .
I would though still jump at buying a season ticket if we ever went back to the Ricoh, all the love hasn't gone , yet
The continuing apathy is'nt going to solve anything but it must have a totally negative effect on other supporters and possibly the staff at the Club.
Our situation is a temporary one and we will be back in Coventry eventually.
I fail to see why supporting the the team at Northampton if you can afford it and are able to travel is such a bad thing, especially when so many are contributing to other clubs incomes by only attending away games.
Sure it's a pain and inconvenient but we have to move on and own our own stadium ( gross income FIFA - FPR ), as the rental model as proved will never ever work in modern football times.
Why cut-off your nose to spit your face, all the protesting is just a waste of time and energy and won't change anything.

A.Yes
We as fans could put up with that but would moan as the replacements were generally poorer.
But this situation is completely different our club has been ripped away from us, doesn't matter who's to blame the damage done will soon become irreparable.
This season I believe will be the death of or Club most die hards I know have thrown in the towel.

Apologies, didn't make myself very clear. I was just repeating what someone - may have even been r_p - had said. He said he knew a die-hard fan who had now decided to get a ST at Leicester. Not much of a die-hard if you do that, I don't think, but there you go.

Watching Leicester. I'll always go and support my team whether they are in Northampton or Coventry. I missed Cessfields. You were on a roll there.
