Never. There's no time limit on my support however shit things are.

As for "likely". Tell us what you know.

What forever ? Because that's whats likely to happen, at what point do we cease to be Coventry ? two years, three years , four etc ....

Much better than being a contender for the most crap excuses on behalf of SISU for what they are doing to our football club whilst making out our club will be better off if they get the freehold for the Ricoh on the cheap.

I quite like grenomatic, he really thought that one through. It's my new favourite. Well it's better than suxfields anyway.

We will be better off. We'll be playing in Coventry and the arena will be used for it's primary purpose.

It's all academic anyway as they'll never get the freehold, will they? Ann said.

I'm just pissed off that my part comes last. A bit like being the arse of a pantomime horse. Uh-oh, that'll give the "comedians" a few ideas.

No just shit.

We have had to replace pros with youth players. Hormantchucl for Danny Thomas plenty more if you want them.

Not in particular, but it would be interesting to know if we've ever had 8 or 9 of the starting 11 on youth contracts. Excluding last day games etc

In Grendel's case Grematic is more suitable to his posts.

Well reading some of the posts on here and the way they defend Sisu but say they are not!! No some are happy with he situation.

Yes we must prove him wrong. Fans may disagree on the cause....but surely we all agree the clubs position within a situation is wrong!

Not many defend SISU. A few certainly do. Just like a few defend CCC. The vast majority just have an outlook on the situation that makes them lean more towards one of the sides. This isn't defending or taking sides. But yes kind of agree with what you are saying. But it works both ways. And more defend CCC than SISU. But there would be something wrong if they didn't. I find it hard to comprehend on how someone could defend SISU after what they have done to our football club and us supporters and continue to do. CCC helped our football club when we needed it. But they could have done some things better. But personally I don't blame them for this shitfest anywhere near as much as SISU. And only SISU can sort out the mess they have caused by being greedy. But that is what hedge funds are all about. Fuck the world as long as they can make money out of a situation. They just chose the wrong situation this time.

Astute, I'd go along with 99% of what you say. I want our club back at the Ricoh as much as anyone. I preferred HR. Felt it could have been developed. In the way Liverpool are doing. Buying houses around the ground etc. But that's gone. Sadly.
The Council have helped this club. It is only because the club was run poorly that they had to sell off any rights they had on moving to the Ricoh. (I must add, poor gates from about 1975, through the years to now, haven't helped. For a City like Coventry, sometimes, a lot, they have been abysmal).
It seems Sisu, a private company with the sole aim of profit, want all these things back for a song. The Council are quite right to stand firm. I'm sure they are willing, even now after the awful way Sisu have conducted themselves, to work some kind of deal to get us back in Coventry. Something that they and Sisu can build on. Sepalla just doesn't realise the money to be made by being sensibly proactive. Her tactics are so weird, so mad, it leaves the suspicion that there is some tax dodge, money shifting thing going on that us mere non financial experts can't grasp.

All I can see is losses from our club put against profits elsewhere. But as they are registered in the Cayman Islands for tax reasons I can't see this as being massive.

What I do see is Joy being after the freehold for as cheap as she can get it. This would include the surrounding land. The surrounding land would be of the value of what she is willing to pay. So the Ricoh would be a freebie. Bring our club home and the value of the Ricoh would be much more.

It sounds good, but what is the chance of our club and the Ricoh being united? This is the big problem that I have with SISU getting the freehold. Joy doesn't seem to want to settle for anything else. It would be the massive payday that she is after. And we will continue to suffer whilst all this crap goes on.

I just cannot see any profits being made anywhere even with player sales. There must be a backstop date of when they will look to end this either buy the ricoh or wind the club up (or even worse buy Northampton!). Whatever their final move will be, our fans will ultimately suffer.

I think for me the FL are equally as guilty in all this, they should be on this they should be holding SISU to account. SISU have sold them some bullshit story about a new ground but here we are a year down the line and land is not brought or brick put to ground. They need to give them deadlines on this or risk losing football league membership. No one clearly wants this but they need to force their hand.

The FL should've insisted that the club was Limited as all the records showed and stopped this whole thing dead in it's tracks.

If they council lose the JR, they really should take legal action against the FL for enabling CCFC to break the lease.

I think it is interesting to see what power the FL actually has over its members. They have stated time and time again that they don't have the power to insist they move back which I get but surely they need to ensure their members satisfy a basic criteria (one being that the club is stable and working in the interest of the fans?). This leads to two potential outcomes that the FL 1) do not have any power of their members apart from serious cases of fraud etc or 2) they just don't give a shite!

I am going for the latter!!

The continuing apathy is'nt going to solve anything but it must have a totally negative effect on other supporters and possibly the staff at the Club.

Our situation is a temporary one and we will be back in Coventry eventually.
I fail to see why supporting the the team at Northampton if you can afford it and are able to travel is such a bad thing, especially when so many are contributing to other clubs incomes by only attending away games.

Hope you break down or get a puncture every time you go to Sixfields.
How many Season Tickets have you bought now?

Sure it's a pain and inconvenient but we have to move on and own our own stadium ( gross income FIFA - FPR ), as the rental model as proved will never ever work in modern football times.

Why cut-off your nose to spit your face, all the protesting is just a waste of time and energy and won't change anything.
