I'm not reminding everyone. Someone asked a question about them and I answered! FFS. Let's just ignore each other. We will both be happy then.

Moff - Torch and others alike make fellow posters blood boil.

His approach towards SISU was sickening and to be honest i havent been on for a bit but after browsing for 20 mins, ive seen 3 seperate posts about him and his season ticket. Fair enough hes got one but to remind everyone every 3 posts is rather pedantic and trying to prove a point.

I hate to bicker but sometimes it cant be helped pal.

Turner's response:

"Hi Andy,

No I wasn't aware of this latest move so thanks for bringing it to our attention.

I will, of course, ask the question.

Out of interest, I notice you are at St Andrews. Are you studying or lecturing?

Just wondered because if you are an expert in these matters it would certainly help in any story I do.

Thanks again and regards,

Andy Turner,
Football Writer,
Coventry Telegraph,"

I will, of course, ask the question. :D
He may ask,but will he get an answer :thinking about:

So lets say Andy asks /emails 100 Questions?
how many Answers do you think he would get back?
IMO 9-15.
More than enough for a CT 2/3 page FANS QandA blah blah :) happy days for Andy Turner
Your question IMO WILL BE one of the 91-85 x-files

Bloody hell. Old skyblue needs to send them an email everytime he finds something.

Well constructed email bsb. However it does not fill me with good vibes that cet are doing such little digging into sisu, council and the hoff. It only such digging and publishing stories bh cet that will force the truth out.

Folks fill in that survey on the cet website and tell them you want better investigative journalism.

They should be fighting the fans and more importantly their customer's corner.

If it weren't for OSB nobody here would know about it  I replied asking for him to let me know what he gets told-if it turns into a published story in the paper all the better, but you're right; we shouldn't be doing the Telegraph's job for them.

It's in his interest to pursue it as far as he can-SISU have kept the ARVO move under wraps for a very good reason which suggests there's a lot to dig up from it.

I keep saying it. They need to dig into the avro sisu deal. They need to dig into the sisu investors. They need to dig into how the council feel about selling shares in the Ricoh to other owners. They need to dig into the planning permission and development rights around the stadium. They need to dig into Hoffman and his Chinese connections.

They are our voice they are their to fight for the customers and allow their customers to be heard.

I am shocked that they don't peruse forums like this. In order to get a feel about what is happening with the fans and what is causing fans concern

Surely if you're a journalist covering Coventry City you'd be pressing as hard as you could behind the scenes to find some scandal? An exposé of SISU would surely sell a ton of papers. Yet Turner's response seems to suggest he's not done even some basic digging. This is all very odd.

Where were the CET when millions seemed to disappear into thin air during the Ricco and co regimes? Why weren't they asking why Manhattan suddenly got cold feet? Why aren't they digging more into SISU's background? Where has Igwe disappeared to - will he be in the foundations for the new hotel? Are SISU taking money out or putting money in? Have they ever spoken to any player who has left - ie were Juke and Turner given a choice or was it their choice to leave a sinking ship? And all gs's questions as well. Investigative journalism died a long time ago I fear - too scared of biting the had that throws them carefully edited scraps.

I agree-a quick browse on this forum at any point from when OSB first mentioned it would've alerted any journalist to a significant piece of news. I'm intrigued to see what he gets told if indeed he asks the question.

I truly believe that these are the coldest, couldn't give a sh1t owners ever to grace English football.

They would liquidate us without a second thought if it saved them a bit of money. As someone has said earlier they are like bullies - and it's time everyone stood up to them.

I would rather have AFC Coventry than this soul-less, depressing, never ending crap.

The ARVO debenture will guarantee them all the club's assets in the event of liquidation-and what's the betting that they're using this as a bargaining tool to get leverage in the ACL talks?

Surely the ideal scenario right now for the fans is a rent reduction of the Ricoh for the club.

That way Sisu don't get their hands on part of the Ricoh and also the club becomes a more appetising proposition for any potential buyer.

I'm talking entirely short term here.

I bet you're right.

I seriously can't go into another season with them around, just can't.

I feel like they've kidknapped a close friend and are asking for a ridiculous ransom. :censored:

Possibly Otis, although would it prolong their stay rather than help them reach the conclusion that they need to get out?

It's very difficult to think about football and look ahead with all this going on behind the scenes-and with SISU around I don't think we'll ever just be able to think about football.

Well yep, but as I say I am only talking about the very short term and of our filing our accounts, coming out of the embargo and our at least have something in the way of a transfer budget no matter how small.

A rent reduction would make us more appealing to investors for sure.

Short term, completely agree.

I'm still gobsmacked that Turner didn't know anything about the ARVO goings-on. WTF does he do all day??

Good evening Torch...

Spoiling for a argument? hahahaha

All your Pro sisu posts over the the season have been laughable. Many said it would end up like this but you said otherwise, bit like Thorn saying he'll get us out of trouble.

Bet you still think there both rght for the club

Sorry, you must be confusing him with someone else. He isn't pro-SISU. He's pro-CCFC. Things are not always black and white!

It's poor journalism either way-if he had known about it, but didn't bother to chase SISU with it, or didn't dig far enough to discover it for himself. However, now he has the information, I'm interested to see what he does with it.

The terrifying truth, I fear! Yet people still say that they are "doing their best, we should get behind them"!

When I read AT's reply to BSB's email, I was sure it was all a wind up. I couldn't believe that a journalist on a local paper knew nothing about the ARVO connection. How can he call himself a journalist? How can the CT call itself a newspaper? It beggars belief.

The power of the Internet.

It makes you wonder how much the club got away with pre internet when the Telegraph was our only source of information re CCFC.

I get the feeling they're scared of being censored if they dare to do any real digging-same reason for C + W's timid stance on proceedings.

I agree, BSB, and have alluded to that in a different thread. I am sure that CT are afraid of upsetting Sisu, and perhaps have already been warned off.
