All joking aside, are you sarcastically suggesting that 40000 of us won't be doing their best to promote Sisu?

That's a given surely?

Good Evening Joy
I hope you have had a good weekend shame the City lost again 3 1 at home to Swindon (was you aware??)

Wembley on April 2nd I am sure the 40000+ Coventry City supporters will do their utmost to ensure that their owners (that's you) will do their best to promote SISU in the best possible way.

Hope you enjoy
Haven't you heard don't put any protests on here you will only get ridiculed.
Just do it.

Then they can't blame you when we lose.

He could be talking about biscuits and I'd still take the piss out of the bad grammar. I can't help myself.
The content is irrelevant.

The fact he's emailed that to Joy though makes us look like simpletons.

I don't think anyone would argue with the sentiment of any protest against SISU, the common theme has been the anti climatic/disappointing/embarrassing and basically poor execution.

We seemingly have a million fan groups, why can't one take control and organise a unanimous anti SISU, but not anti Coventry, protest.

The best protest ever would've been an empty Wembley. No Cov fans. Surely that would be a massive statement? I'm asking far too much though. Peeps have got to have their jolly.

I sincerely hope you proof read the copy you sent to Joy?
Or maybe get a key stage 2 child to do it at least?
I'm sure joy will be sitting at her desk in 7 hours time wondering why a drunken 9 year old has been let loose on a lap top.

Hi Pasty

Come on then, point out the errors please , I assume you are an Oxford post graduate in English so please feel free to educate me

Good Evening Joy

Well before I've even got to the content of the email I've already noticed that she'll be bored and uninterested and won't read on.
Good evening Joy???
Two things with that,
1, Good evening? It will be 8am Monday Morning when she reads this, good evening?
2, Joy? How informal do you want to be? She's a top exec of a multi million hedge fund, she doesn't know you, you don't know her! You're not casually texting your pal for a moan about how shit the city were on Saturday.
Dear Ms. Seppalla,

Also, were you aware that was you aware is incorrect grammar?

There was also a part about fans doing their best to ensure their owners do their best. I understand what your saying but I could have been worded so much better.

The sentiment and content is fine, the wording and delivery could of been much stronger.

And I'm not an Oxford Grad, I'm just a track rat that works at Land Rover with no formal qualifications what so ever, and if I can pick up on these little mistakes then what do you think somebody like Joy will do?
I'm not saying this to put you down, I'm not trying to be a c**t and make you look bad. I'm just pointing out how it looks from the other side! People moan about Fisher and Joy never responding to fans, we don't give them reason to like this.
With all due respect but she probably won't even realise this is a serious email (that's if she reads it and doesn't delete it as spam)!

There will certainly be verbal protest especially if we are losing and albeit relegated by then doubt it will be anymore than that other than a few banners.

If any protests do happen they should happen outside the stadium. Maybe meet at a set point, march in with banners and then leave it. Inside the ground I don't think we should be doing anything. There will be a lot of kids there and this could be their only special memory of Coventry City. That shouldn't be tarnished as it'll stick in their minds when we're in the conference in a few years as a reminder what football and CCFC could/should be about. They are the future of our club and without them it's finished.

I'm not sure even if anything outside would be effective though. Too many people will just want to enjoy their day.

the biggest way to attract media would be to invade pitch and get game called off

i would only like to see that if we are losing by 2 with 15mins to go lol

which will probbaly happen.....

what about hiring a plane to do a flyover with a banner? They always get a bit of coverage. I'd happily chip in.

Rather than a fleeting statement which achieves basically nothing and costs quite a lot, how about producing a banner that supports the team, makes a statement of love of our team despite the owners. I would chip in for that and it can be used again and again.

not sure that would help in getting media attention against our owners though? so have to ask whats the point

if players cant win a final without a banner we dont deserve to win.

Great plan.

Let's overnight become the most despised club in England.

not saying do it. just saying would be biggest way to attract media attention.

and if it did,im not sure being despised would really make matters much worse. we are near rock bottom as it is

How about we make a statement by going to Wembley, enjoying the game and supporting the team. We haven't been to Wembley for 30 years, we haven't had any real success for decades, we have had absolutely nothing to cheer about since Christmas 2015 (and very, very little in the last ten years).

By all means organise a protest for outside the stadium, but once we're inside Wembley why don't we just go and have a great day, because let's be honest it might be a lot longer than 30 years until our next trip to Wembley. Plus, who knows, maybe seeing that even the slightest amount of success draws 40,000 or so City fans to Wembley might show that there's life in the club yet and we're worth a punt for a takeover.

I wouldn't get too hung up on the number of fans groups, when Portsmouth went through their troubles there were dozens of different factions according to their administrator

I think they managed to get most of them together under 1 umbrella eventually.

Without a doubt, if we are losing there are going to be too many beered up supporters for not to charge that pitch. I think we are starting to turn into a hated club for these actions however. At Sheff Utd it had the desired effect but any further continuing actions is going to have teams getting fed up with this.

I just hope they keep any protests outside but I think sadly inevitable.

Wembley will be a different kettle of fish for a pitch invasion than the Ricoh / Sixfields won't it?
