Are SISU Lying already? (1 Viewer)

In the press conference today, they mentioned they have a meeting with the council on Friday.

The council have since said they know nothing about it...

yes, they are lying, ive asked brody on twitter about it, waiting for a response

Don't hold your breath.

I have contacted him several times with no reply. He only selects the easy questions of the compliments.

I even said I could make an "Ask Leonard" section on here where he could answer questions but no reply...That would be really good communication.

When the guy (I cant remember who it was) was asked if they had spoken to the council, he did hesitate a little bit didn't he?

It could be a surprise meeting, like a birthday party. Whoever asked the council has ruined it, and now they'll have to send the cake back.

Are you losing 4m, 6m or 8m?

This idea that the brand isn't for sale is laughable, everything is for sale at the right price. Just trying to force a higher offer?

Ranson quitting as consultant only 2 days after getting that job, very strange.

They need investment for both players and the stadium and they need help from everyone including the council?

I'm glad the internet wasn't such a powerful tool when we went into admin, at least we only got bull shitted to once a week or so.

Exactly.

If somebody came up to SISU now and said that they will buy them out and give them everything back they had put in. They would be snapping hands off.

I'd imagine they'll take a lot less than that if they have been close to admin recently and you're still losing 500k a month.

When they say it's not for sale, I'd take that to mean they're not actively looking for a buyer or offering the club. Of course if some unhinged tycoon wanted to throw money at them, they'd take it. Goes without saying.

Saying you have a meeting with the council on a particular day (Friday) and then said council deny any such meeting is a blatant lie and considering why they are all sitting 'in the dock' at an extraordinary press conference to cement relations and explain we are in safe hands going forward is simply not the way to start out and from the get go we have little faith in the new bunch.

I'd be surprised if they were to come out with so blatant a lie - too easy to be caught out.

Is it possible that they have a meeting fixed up with someone (say perhaps a councillor rather than an official) but that whoever put out the council's statement is unaware of it?

He should have said we have proactive and have been trying to contact the council with a view to meeting this Friday or at their earliest about buying into the Arena.

He told a porky pie.

Now the bent councillor is going to be "outted"!

Do we need to meet with the council or with the higgs charity who own the clubs stake in acl and are offering it for sale back to us at a knockdown price?

Oh, so it wasn't a lie-just a heavily spun remark! Having an appointment with one councillor does not ammount to a meeting with the council about buying our share in the arena anyway!

I loved the way Dulieu-a well known SISU man-pretended he was nothing to do with them. That bit about poor SISU "taking a kicking in the press", and then saying it was very hard for him to sit down with them and beg for investment...JESUS! Ken, mate, WE KNOW YOU WORK FOR SISU!!!

Is this a bid to shut the press up?! I thought they wanted transparancy and better communication-acknowlidging their deficiency in this area up to now? OF COURSE the press are going to speculate when there is a deafening silence and unofficial leaks all over the place! I have 100% more reason to believe Hoffmans comments than these gangsters.

Why would they sell it at a knock down price when they make money from their share?
I've never understood this and nobody seems able to explain it.

Hackers - I understand that the option was put in place by the Higgs charity at the time they part funded the Arena. The idea was to give the club some breathing space to get the funds together to take up at least the 50% stake (oh the irony....).

Unlike you not to know the full detail of anything CCFC related!!

I've never understood this and nobody seems able to explain it.

They make money from their share not least beacuse of the income generated by CCFC. If we cease to exist, then they make diddly squat so it is in their interests not necessarily to sell at a knockdown price but certainly at a fair and not an artificially inflated price which seems to be the current price on the table. The stadium build is now history and the costs written down by now in the accounts, so the value of the asset should be significantly lower and represent its true worth

The more and more I read, the more and more im seething about SISU. Normally i think there is always 2 sides to a story, but whenever SISU give their side, it angers me even further! I think they are very shady, and feels like a bit of a boys club at the moment with a load of laughing idiots all giving favours to their mates. We need a takeover with investors by the start of summer.

I'm not sure it's a bit of a boys club but I tell you what it does seem - incestuous! Seriously, everyone that's coming in has previously had something to do with SISU. I couldn't listen to all of it but from what I did hear they dodged the question about who invested the money (but I've now read it was actually SISU who put it in) and have BS'd about the meeting with the council. Has anything actually changed (apart from us not having a single asset now other than the players)?!
