Are there 3 worse teams than us? (1 Viewer)

Think it might come to this by the end of the season. Just think we are just not good enough. No fault of the players or the manager who on most occasion s give 100 percent but let's face it this is what we've got and I am just hoping that come the end of the season there are 3 teams that have been consistently worse than us, although that looks unlikely at the moment.

It's easy to say at the mo but it's a long season and if we are not well clear of it all after Xmas then I fear the worst. Forest are shipping goals at the mo but cant see them being there for the long hall even with mclaren and I always seem to look for doncasters results. Think Peterborough will be in the mix as well after losing a couple of there best players

I actually think Millwall will get out of trouble and finish mid table. If you were to push me for 3 worse teams I would say Bristol, Donny and Watford.

10 games in and we're clutching at straws already, we're not scoring enough we're conceding too many and we've won one in ten, i can't think of any team worse than that.

Would say possibly Peterborough, possibly Doncaster. Three teams? Nope.

I have had a very bad feeling for a while now. This squad has relegation written all over it from what I can see. We cannot depend on kids all season long and the squad is paper thin. Yes, we have played some nice football at times, but it is all bits and pieces and there here and there is so much that is wrong and brittle about us. No support to Juke, no support for the attack from the midfield, sloppy goals, kids learning their trade, poor performing players residual in the team because there is no-one else to replace them with. not enough goals scored, worst start of any campaign for an age, an inexperienced manager, dwindling crowds, unpopular board.

And that's just the good points!! :D

I don't think there are 3 teams worse than us. All we needed to be a descent side at this level was to keep Gunner and Marlon King and to bring in 2 or three players. I don't believe that was asking too much. Whats the point of running a club the way Sisu are:mad:

Bristol City are a very poor side from what I've seen. Still yet to be convinced that Doncaster will continue their recent run. Then look for a side like Peterborough to fall down the league after a bright start. I imagine 2 out of us and these 3 will go down, with a surprise addition.

I would say bristol city & donny, I think it will be close for us whatever the final outcome. I dont think we will finish bottom.

I dread to say it, but..no. The only sides I think may be are Bristol City, Millwall (behind us so must be terrible...I hope I never see anything from us quite bad as the Bristol defending today), Watford (just above us, lost a lot of players, new gaffer looks out of his depth) and Peterboro-in a great position after a good start, but their squad lacks quality and I wouldn't swap it for ours-I think they'll slump).

Of the teams around us, I think Forest are in a false position given their squad quality-Umbrella Fella will get fired if he doesn't turn it around, and a new manager will probably carry them to mid-table.

Birmingham have games in hand and are again in a bit of a false position.

Then, it is already a 6 point gap to Barnsley. We might catch up with them, but on todays showing you have to doubt it. "Blown out of the water"..and off the pitch?

I've already been reduced to something I haven't done since the top-flight relegation battles:looking for our rivals' results. This is how I grew up with an irrational hatred of Luton, Charlton and Watford; looks like the latter one is set for a revival this year!

Our only real hope is that a team goes into administration. Sadly, that team is a probably more likely to be us than anyone else!

Palace are looking quality. Freedman is working wonders with a team of youngsters-but those that have a couple of seasons of first team football behind them. Ours don't, perhaps Cameron apart. I would say Palace are very similar to us, in terms of style and quality manager, but with a better squad. He was actually allowed to make signings this summer!

I don't think Palace can maintain the start they've made - they were lucky to get the points against us and they seem frail. I could be wrong but I think they may get taken apart by the more physical temas and the better quality teams - however I accept that we might well be too.

Can't see three teams worse than us right now.

And if SISU sell Juke and/or Clingan in January I think we will end up bottom.

Barnsley have only lost 2 out of 10. Only won 2 out of 10 as well though. They could go either way. Should be OK though.
Watford are poor at home but doing better away. 4 points at home, and 3 of them were against Millwall. 10 points
Portsmouth poor away but home form OK. Should pull away from bottom. 9 points
Brum will pull away from bottom. Games in hand but bad result each game after playing in Europe. 8 points
Doncaster 7 points from last 3 games. Can they keep it up or is it just because of new manager and results will go the same way as before? 8 points
Forest looking poor at the moment. Defence looks poor. Leaking goals. Will know more after next game. 8 points
Cov Bad start to the season giving clubs a start on us. Now lost only 2 in last 7 games. Very poor away from home. 7 points
Millwall look poor. Struggling to score like us. Played teams near bottom and lost. 7 points
Bristol City. Relegation favourites. Scored 8 and 20 against. Look disorganised. Only 2 points from home games. 6 points

Add to these Peterborough. Started well but now losing. Sliding down the table. 13 points
Brighton. Look as though the honeymoon period is over. Could do what Blackpool did last season. Lost last 2 games 3-1. 17 points but falling down table.

Watford, Bristol City and Millwall for me, but there is a long way to go. Would not be surprised if one of the bottom 10 teams made it to the playoffs other than Brum. There is only 11 points from the bottom club to 5th place. Most clubs will go on a losing streak some time during the season. Better now than the end of the season.

definite bottom 3 - cant see us scoring enough goals to stay up, and can't see us signing anymore players this season unless we sell first.

Bristol City look very poor at the moment, but would expect them to beat us, Millwall again look poor, but would expect them to beat us and probably Watford who I think would draw if we met at the Ricoh

If we hadn't been one of the Favourites for the drop ie Better odds I would have backed us to go down even before a ball was kicked.

I can't see where the goals will come from !!!

Not many teams better than us at home at not losing. No teams worse than us away though. If we can sort out our away form then yes there will be a fair few teams worse than us.
