I read my news through an RSS feed, which means as soon as something gets posted I get it on my feed. If its later changed or withdrawn it still appears.

Just checked the CT feed today and there was an article titled "be wary of big talk from Coventry City 'investors'"

The blurb goes :"At least there's some good news on the horizon...or is there?"

When I click the link it goes to a dead page with no story and the story is nowhere to be found. Anyone see it and know why it was pulled? Seems fishy to me especially as it looked like an anti-Hoffman piece from the title and the CT is a Mirror owned publication. Strings pulled from the top?

I read it earlier on the CET website and the same story is in the actual paper - so maybe it is just a glitch on the website - if its not and Andy Turner has written something on the libel side then he is screwed.

pressed the back button a few times and i still have the story in my history

AT least there’s some good news on Coventry City's horizon... or is there?
The latest rumour doing the rounds – and one that has been given legs by being run as a story on at least one internet outlet – claims a London-based Indian businessman has been trying to contact the club to discuss the possible investment of between £80-100million in the Sky Blues.
The story goes that a chap called Steve Sandhu has been trying to get hold of chairman Ken Dulieu and Sisu front-man Onye Igwe for the last month, to no avail.
But he can’t be much of a dynamic operator if he hasn’t at least left a message with either of their PAs.

And, given the fact that City are currently swimming against a financial Tsunami, you’d think if he had made a call that they’d be bending over backwards to see the colour of his money.
It is even claimed that he knocked the door of a fan for help in his quest to save the club.
Now call me a cynic, but haven’t we been down this road before?
My question to Mr Sandhu is, are you Joe Dhinsa in disguise – courting supporters with extravagant claims rather than discreetly going to the men at the top?
I know from personal experience that the current lot in charge are not the most accessible but even I am able to occasionally communicate with the powers that be.
Granted it might take a couple of weeks and usually results in a one paragraph statement, but the point is they are available if you try hard enough.
So put up or shut up Mr Sandhu!
Stop press: Following a call to the club to enquire if they had been approached by Mr Sandhu, City’s rapid response unit came back within hours with the following statement: “We are happy to talk to any potential investors but will obviously need to see proof of funds at an early stage.”

I read this article in the CT this morning and it seems to me that Andy Turner like the rest of us has had a bellyful of SISU as well.
