Maybe if they stop treating test matches like a T20. It’s possible to be aggressive and have a high scoring rate without throwing wickets awayWe just can’t bat well enough
there would have been more than enough overs today & tomorrow. You've put yourselves in a position to bat normally to win and you've unnecessarily gifted at least 3 of these wickets. You are putting zero pressure on Aussie bowlers as they know self-created mistakes will come. That simple drop of Marsh by Root is going to haunt them if they don't get over the line.Maybe if they stop treating test matches like a T20. Don't take on the short ball. Take the 1s and 2s. Get to 220 for 6 and see how the Aussies handle the pressure.Missed opportunities is the story of the series so far. Two strangled down leg is unfortunate but also a couple of poor shots chucked in. Wonder if that drop has played on Roots mind, not looked himself in either innings
Bumper barrage coming for Woakes.

Always classy just has the odd brain fade. Young lad thoughBrook finally showing his class
Agree, dare I say they’re playing this well atm

Wood and Woakes the difference makers with bat and ball. When will they learn-ALWAYS PICK WOAKES IN ENGLAND!Get the fuck in. Great cameo from Woody but wow, fair play to Woakes, what a return !
Pulled it off despite some of the ugly cricket. Needed one batsman to produce a score so credit to Brook - let's keep him down the order. No 3 needs sorting quickly.
Key to series (aside from eliminating the drops & daft shots) has to be keeping Wood fit.
Absolutely delighted to have called this spectacularly wrong on so many instances.Looks like the only cricket we'll be seeing from today till Monday will be a morning session tomorrow (even then only if the forecast holds up)
So that'll be the 3rd test drawn - Aussies retain ashes and meaning we will avoid my predicted 5-0 reverse.
4 losses and a draw it will be then. (Again, weather permitting.)
