England actually deserve to be whitewashed, wank at batting, fielding and picking a past it Anderson

Been in commanding positions each test and threw it away

Poor performance today. So far. Or is it that the Aussies are better? They must think the game is theirs.

Just when you thought England would comfortably get to the target….Stokes and Bairstow fall

Too many players under performed so far. Take out stokes and a couple of the bowlers and the rest have been poor. Bairstow's had a shocker.

This partnership is the game now. Woakes is capable, just needs to see Brook through to a big score while adding a boundary here and there.

Maybe if they stop treating test matches like a T20. It’s possible to be aggressive and have a high scoring rate without throwing wickets away
there would have been more than enough overs today & tomorrow. You've put yourselves in a position to bat normally to win and you've unnecessarily gifted at least 3 of these wickets. You are putting zero pressure on Aussie bowlers as they know self-created mistakes will come. That simple drop of Marsh by Root is going to haunt them if they don't get over the line.

Missed opportunities is the story of the series so far. Two strangled down leg is unfortunate but also a couple of poor shots chucked in. Wonder if that drop has played on Roots mind, not looked himself in either innings

Bumper barrage coming for Woakes.

Don't take on the short ball. Take the 1s and 2s. Get to 220 for 6 and see how the Aussies handle the pressure.

Pulled it off despite some of the ugly cricket. Needed one batsman to produce a score so credit to Brook - let's keep him down the order. No 3 needs sorting quickly.
Key to series (aside from eliminating the drops & daft shots) has to be keeping Wood fit.

Maybe some ugly but also some ballsy cricket. Stokes in first innings kept us in the game and to get Aussies out for 220 second innings was very good especially with being a bowler down. Massive pressure on everyone second innings. Brook, Crawley, Woakes and Woody all played important roles at different times

Hopefully we can get some catching practice in over next 10 days, wrap Woody in cotton wool and go again !

Everyone’s certainly got their monies worth so far

Looks like the only cricket we'll be seeing from today till Monday will be a morning session tomorrow (even then only if the forecast holds up)
So that'll be the 3rd test drawn - Aussies retain ashes and meaning we will avoid my predicted 5-0 reverse.
4 losses and a draw it will be then. (Again, weather permitting.)
Absolutely delighted to have called this spectacularly wrong on so many instances.
I could be on a roll here so I'm gonna throw this one out - City definitely won't finish in the top six at the end of the forthcoming season.

Watching back the highlights, that really was a cracking knock under pressure by Harry Brook. He broke the back of the total. Crawley worth a mention, too.
