I think the fact they're looking to appoint a new manager that appeals to the clubs fans rules out Coventry, because we already have one appointed don't we?
It'll be Charlton, a London club will have more appea to Aussies, considering half of Australia lives down there!

London does always seem to appeal. However there is some hope for us, if they are still interested in Charlton if it comes without the ground.
Regarding the manager bit. We would've cheaper as we already have one that the fans like.

Not all City fans have forgiven Robins.

The guy who sits behind me doesn't like him and said he will never forgive Robins for going to Huddersfield.

That's sick. He wanted assurances and didn't get them, and was offered more money. If he had been given assurances and been put on a promise, then I could understand people being pissed off, but Joy/ SISU seem to have miscalculated... again...

We can look at Charlton and because they are in London you'd think they are the better bet but then we are a one city club with a population of over 300000 plus the surrounding areas, lot of opposition in south London, I am biased but taking the recent Wembley experience that might appeal.

Plus Warwickshire, of course.

90s it would have been.

Everyone I knew from Nuneaton were Cov fans. Maybe I was just lucky. It was people through various different jobs I did. Probably 20 - 40 different people. That's all I have to go on. One job was a summer job in factory there and they were mainly Cov fans.

I agree back in the day towns like Nuneaton and Rugby were 80% Sky Blue not so sure it still is though.

And Leamington, Warwick and surrounding villages. No longer. Not for years.

Is it breaking news or is it news that has been reported elsewhere days ago? Wonder if their syndication department will be sending the CT a bill.

16 days ago this was posted on here!!!! feck off Gilbert and CT...............finger on the pulse?? hahahahaha

To be fair, and I'm feeling in a good mood today. For most people this will be breaking news. My dad for example wouldn't have heard anything about it until now.

So CCFC is one of 6 clubs being looked at ....... One look at us and then back to the other 5.... or listen to Tim saying how bad it is and all you can do with City is run at around plus minus £ 0,00.... we have no stadium revenues, obstructed by the council at every turn....etc., etc. And then go to the other 5.

Without wishing to sound too negative, if they are looking at six clubs I would be very surprised if we end up as the top choice.

I like that the CT is already wheeling about as many articles as possible, including morale boosters like, 'Why would anyone buy CCFC?' and 'Would the Australians appoint a new manager?'
