Remember Chelsea away when Stuart Robson win us the game... Not many of us there and in them days locked in a pen as tattooed faced Chelsea walked past, city fans chanting 1-0 lol thank god for them fences....

That was one of the best days ever, must have been less than 200 of us on a wide open terrace, Robson bossed that game and me an two others have never run faster to our car after that. They just kept us behind that one fence with all the lunatics waiting in the street for us.

Oldham away in some cup.

Coach didnt get there till nearly half time. After 5 mins of us arriving Wegerle swore at the ref and got send off. We lost 2-0 to 2 x Darren Beckford goals IIRC.

SBA didnt stop singing for a single second, including all of HT.

Was on that coach, didn't the driver get lost ? Ended up driving around manchester if i remember right.

Newcastle away in 88-89. 3 up at half time, and with the locals frothing at the mouth the old bill decided, as there were so few of us, that they would give us a lift back to the train in the meat wagons.

Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup 1987, in a brand new hired ford sierra estate one doggying it in the boot four on the back seat two in front. Just got into to sheffield and two lads smashed my back light, bang went my £50 deposit. As we were Willenhall hooligans they gave chase into a half demolished factory with these lads throwing half bricks at us. We were done up like kippers, all hell broke lose as about 20 0r 30 more of them came from nowhere. Blood, snot and gore everywhere as we were chased back to the car which was now surrounded and those bricks I was talking about started smashing through the windows. Every window was smashed or shattered and every panel dented. The car was written off and I lost my £50, but still went back of for the best experience away ever, beating Leeds and we were on our way to Wembley, I will never forget that buzz it meant more to me going to wembley than beating Spurs in the final

Being as there's a few Cov in Turin this evening, can I mention an England away in Slovakia? The one where canleys finest Gaz Jones got shot in the neck!

I can remember taking my brother and 8 year old nephew to Man City in the cup.
With us all standing my nephew struggled to see. I suggested the empty corner between the fans would be great place to go to after half time.
That is where they went.
Man City scored in the last few seconds and the rival fans charged at each other and met exactly where they were sitting.
The coach was delayed while St Johns sorted them out.
We laugh now but at the time it was not funny.

Arsenal at Highbury, was in London decorating my sisters flat, went to the groundto find out you couldn't buy tickets for the away end on the day. Told to go to ticket office, while I was in the queue some guys sold me a ticket, season ticket holder could't make it. Went in with them City scored, anyone remember that Jasper Carrot thing when he went to Old Trafford? There I was jumping up and down like a lunatic and except for the City directors I was the only one in the whole stand, got some pretty strange looks and a few threats,at the final whistle left pretty sharpish.

I was at that very game. When news was reported of a fan from Cov getting one in the neck, family and friends assumed it would be me!
We take loads to England away matches. He was very unlucky, I think the projectile actually ricocheted into him. Probably off half a dozen other lads from Coventry.

Back in 1965 I was supposed to meet some mates in town but turned up late and missed them. On a whim I went to Pool Meadow and caught a coach to the game at Man City. Can`t remember much about the game but I was behind Bill Glazier`s goal when he broke his leg. I had a distinct feeling that I heard it go. Maybe just my imagination but Maine Rd was pretty quiet in those days as there weren`t many in the ground.

Wimbledon 0 - City 2 Ndlovu scored twice at Selhurst Park. There were thousands of city fans there and a huge pitch invasion at the end. The noise from the fans made my ears hurt like hell.

Remember turning up at Oldham at half time...

Remember the cup game at WBA. Ndlovu scoring late in to win the game... 1st game at high field road kicked off at the end by the exit to west terrace... Remember the whispers building up to the replay about revenge attacks... Remember some guy stood on a tiny bit of corner Kop having a small tussle before ko... After the game we all came out and Baggies at the bottom of a hill. Everyone charged down the hill but didn't see much else I was just a kid back then following a crowd, but remember it well..

Remember guys like Pongo at most away games... Remember Chelsea away when Stuart Robson win us the game... Not many of us there and in them days locked in a pen as tattooed faced Chelsea walked past, city fans chanting 1-0 lol thank god for them fences....

Another few. Ndlovu hatrick at Anfield

QPR being filmed outside and in for some tv program

Still waiting for my royalties from that TV programme. I was outside the springbok sinking a pint and eventually got to see it a couple of years later.
strange to hear sky blue army ringing out when it was supposed to be a Liverpool v man u cup semi.

In fairness there were a few Canley in Slovakia. He's back in Blighty now, was at Chesterfield the other week. Good lad.

Was you in Seville Spain away nobbys 40th?

Saw Dave from the SBA coach in the ground last night, and that blonde bird who travels everywhere.

Similar thing happened to us at West ham about 25 years back. A few lads start giving us some stick. We chase them and around the corner they're waiting with about 40 blokes throwing anything they can at us. Locals called the police who must have known something was happening as they were there in seconds and we managed to escape.

Randomly, a few of us got pally with a few Luton at Euro '04 and this story came up.

Turns out one of the Luton lads was stood next to him when he got shot and helped him get to hospital that night.
