Maybe McNulty is a 20 goal striker but in the wrong team

Unfortunately for him he hasn't been in the right team quite a few times then.
Maybe he should stick to lower level Scottish football in order to play that role.

Think the size of our away support is fantastic, but is seems to also motivate the home team as welll
The idiot at Stanley cupping his ears would never have done that if there was only a handful behind the goals

Dont really see the issue with cupping the ears, if I was a footballer I'd do it all the time if I was getting shit and scored.

You are making my point.
My point is you can't get automatic with that philosophy,
Especially if you can't score goals.
As you will draw your away goals if you are lucky and then draw your home games.
Add finishing to this team, you will get the top three
But it's not just finishing. As been said a number of times we just don't create enough clear cut chances. Another attacking midfielder or right winger is needed as a priority, and then we will start to create decent chances and score goals.

You don't need a 20 goal striker, if everyone's chipping in. Burton got promoted twice with beavon up front. Of the 3 that got autos only Doncaster had a player that scored more than 20 goals, in fact the joint top scorer was Akinde with 26 goals and Barnet finished 14th.

The season before champions Northampton top scorer only got 15, their goals were spread around the squad.

If we start creating 3-5 decent chances a game rather than relying on long range potshots we will start to score goals.

In an ideal world we would have a marquee striker, but we haven't but we can score goals we just need to start creating decent openings.
