Or someone with a scanning device, like they use at concerts/ festivals etc.Surely it’s just as much as having a QR Code reader installed? Does SA have that facility?
Absolutely nothingYou heard any whispers wasps end ?
They’ve just announced new digital ticketing software for home games. I’m sure the same technology could be transferred to the Ricoh so probably irrelevant but would we bother working on sorting a new ticket system for St Andrews if we were leaving in a couple of weeks?
Schmeichel it was, Quinn didn’t touch him he basically blagged it to get him sent off. 1-0 correct, Dennis Irwin got the goal.Yeah I remember that, think we lost 1-0 and Quinn got sent off for throwing a punch at one of their players - I was about 10 or 11 and only remember one other City fan near us.
Can’t be a coincidence that the Ccfc badges are still up though. Wasps need the income as much as cov need to be playing in covYou heard any whispers wasps end ?

Or why pay to have them taken down and then pay to put them back upI'd suggest there are other reasons why they're still up (not saying what you're saying is untrue):
1. The symbolism of Wasps removing them would be a terrible PR move
2. The cost of removing them isn't worth it
3. Someone just forgot to take them downI'd suggest there are other reasons why they're still up (not saying what you're saying is untrue):

And not to mention several thousand seats that spell out our name

I have no idea if it’s true but the figure of 100k has been quoted to replace the seats so there are better things to spend that kind of money like wise the Ricoh letters are massive so costly, the ccfc badges could be done quite easily some of them with a couple of guys and a cherry picker but what’s the point when at some point you will be back playing there as tenants or ownersYeah why havent they removed them all?
Another reason for the Ricoh sign could be at some point a new sponsor will go on the stadium so they come down when the new goes up saves a few quid that wayIs that why they haven't taken the Ricoh ones down?
Is that why there are still walls full of CCFC fans at one side of the ground still?
Definitely Quinn gave Schmeichel the smallest of shoves in a multi-player handbags and he dived over and got Quinn sent off.
Think I remember Wegerle hitting the post late on too... or that might have been a year or two before...
I remember some retard from my school who was your typical glory United fan.... expressing surprise that he celebrated in the West Terrace when United scored and got a punch....!
Several games had trouble with United, in fact I think they were regularly the worst fans to come here at that time.... one game around 97 was particularly bad especially in the Brewer & Baker area and that road leading up towards the ground from there...
You clearly didn't experience Chelsea coming to HR in the 70s. A sea of dark blue and white scarfs accompanied by polished heads filled the West End terrace by 2pm on a Saturday. Whoa betide any Cov fans vocally supporting the Sky Blues as they were swiftly dealt with. West Ham were equally bad...Definitely Quinn gave Schmeichel the smallest of shoves in a multi-player handbags and he dived over and got Quinn sent off.

It’s ok, we’ll just stagnate and then go backwards in Brum then! Jeez!Although this works in our favour I hate that it's the case. It means they're making money from us which means we will constantly be under a glass ceiling while there.
Did I say I didn't want it to happen or did I say I hate that it's what we have to do?It’s ok, we’ll just stagnate and then go backwards in Brum then! Jeez!
Is that stickman footballer from the Olympics still up on the outside of the ground?
He said "footballer"I think you'll find that was Peter Vincenti

Yes, and later, MOTD perhaps, idiot Schmeichel says ‘he doesn’t need to do that, he’s such a good player’. Then Quinn’s sending off was rescinded, proving he’d done nothing, in any case.Schmeichel it was, Quinn didn’t touch him he basically blagged it to get him sent off. 1-0 correct, Dennis Irwin got the goal.

Best scrap i've seen was at Maine Road, i think it might have been a cup game, it was chaos!yes I wasn’t going up until ‘92... the worst I remember were Leeds early 90’s (a few years in a row we played them last game of the season and there always seemed to be trouble.... particularly remember 95-96 when we stayed up last game and that was possibly the worst trouble I saw on the pitch at home).... then late 90’s it seemed to be Man Utd take over that “honour”....
Think Villa away in that era was the worst I saw away from Highfield Road... think the first brawl I saw at real close quarters was mid 90’s straight after final whistle at Villa.... I remember wondering how anyone knew who supported which team as nobody had colours on! The year we went down wasn’t pleasant either... I remember the viciousness which started at the Rocket in Cov, the entire train journey, the walk to the ground, then after the match... seemed nasty at the time....
I can guarantee £100k won’t scratch the surface to replace the seats. £50 a seat x 33,000 = £1.6m that’s without labour and parts etc.I have no idea if it’s true but the figure of 100k has been quoted to replace the seats so there are better things to spend that kind of money like wise the Ricoh letters are massive so costly, the ccfc badges could be done quite easily some of them with a couple of guys and a cherry picker but what’s the point when at some point you will be back playing there as tenants or owners

Or Bruce RiochJust get sponsored by a Choir and save loads of cash.

I couldn't get it to post but Wegerle hit the post for us. Quinn had a shot that hit both posts as well iirc
Used to love playing United, their away support completely different from the prawn sandwich brigade and like you say plenty of trouble over the years
Easter Monday it was.Remember it well as well, one of my first games. Could never find highlights online. It was late in the season and they were on for the title IIRC. Was like a home game for them, never saw Highfield road like that.
That’s at McGinnity rates though. I’m sure there will be cheaper options .I can guarantee £100k won’t scratch the surface to replace the seats. £50 a seat x 33,000 = £1.6m that’s without labour and parts etc.
