With our current owners and financial problems stadium ownership is not the way forward it's a bigger hole and I'm sure I dont need to tell you that if you're in a hole stop digging.
How has renting matchday only with little access to additional revenues served us in the last decade?
We just need to keep our options open until we see a business case either way.

Again and neither do you. It's all supposition. Only you don't seem to have learned anything from not just SISU's ownership but also previous ownership and are throwing caution to the wind. You're championing repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results. It's madness. We're not even in as good a place as we were last time a new stadium was talked about.
They have seen figures for our previous Championship seasons, they have seen figures for 91 other clubs, they have seen what happened to Stockport. Can they be 100% certain, of course not, but that doesn't mean anything should be ruled out.
You are aware we aren't the only football club in the country aren't you?
I'm not throwing caution to the wind or championing anything. I'm saying keep our options open and get as much reliable information as possible to make an informed choice.
Although in terms of 'repeating the same mistakes' if we could have an outlay of £10m and get a stadium complex like the Ricoh in return I would absolutely make that 'mistake' again. However I wouldn't be overspending at the same time so we end up needed to hand ownership of the stadium over to someone else.
You're using an out of date business model for the Ricoh and a generalisation of how other clubs do it because of the lack of an actual business plan to form your arguments and opinion. If that's not throwing caution to the wind I don't know what is.
Stadium ownership if managed and run correctly will increase the budget therefore allowing us more money to spend. This in turn with the correct manager will allow us to be more competitive. If the club is also run right it should minimise any further debt being placed on the club. Also bit rich when you say Dave has been suckered in, your best mate Italia has gone from SISU lover to SISU hater. Gone from moral outrage at the Northampton move to season ticket with Wasps. Think you're better advising your mate about being suckered in!
Some ccfc fans have short memoriEs and now look a bit hypocritical.Balderdash...... What about the stadium debt ?
Sisu were okay when they took us over but since they moved us I want them out.
Better to change your opinion on them than to follow their bull5hit blindly.
Most CCFC fans were outraged with Northampton.
Most CCFC fans are not happy that Wasps have our stadium but understand how Sisu gambled with our club and lost.
League one football with the odd season in the championship all courtesy of Wasps, SISU, CCC and the Higgs. Whilst sitting in either a yellow or black seat looking across at the other stand and seeing Wasps wrote in the seats. Walking around the Ricoh and only seeing Wasps memorabilia. The problem is, you don't seem to have a problem with any of that. In fact you seem to have embraced it.
Lucky enough to be profiting from it, I doubt you would feel the same if they played on the other side of the cityWe are building our own stadium so they have no reason to consider us when changes need to me made.
Perhaps if you told Sisu to stop pi55ing around we could at least talk to Wasps about including us in future decisions.
As for Wasps, I realise they are here for the long term and I'm lucky enough to be able to rise above it and enjoy the occasion.
Stay bitter and twisted if it makes you fell better but I've moving on even though I have no idea what our future is after 2 years.
No, I'm saying people need to get a new stadium out their system and at least push Sisu on our future instead of following their bullshit like lemmings.
Exactly, who wouldn't want to sit in a ccfc branded stadium like the emirates.Saying you want/would like/would be happy with a new stadium is different to believing it will happen under SISU, don't think many if any are actually buying there bullshit that progress is being made on the new stadium under SISU
We need a new owner who can deliver the dream new stadium.
I would rather we had our own stadium than play in an increasing Wasps branded stadium, that is absolutely correct. However if it is shown that staying at the Ricoh under Wasps is the best option then that would be the route I would support, albeit while hoping for Wasps to fail or a billionaire owner to come along.
That's why we need to commit for 10 years so we can be involved in Ricoh future changes.
a) SISU won't be our owners forever b) you don't know what the best option is
They will be difficult to get rid of. If I read it right they have tied the debt we owe them into the club so any buyer will need to buy that as well.
I'm not assuming it is better, why are you pushing for us to sign up long term under Wasps without similar information to show that is a better option?

As for Wasps, I realise they are here for the long term and I'm lucky enough to be able to profit from it.
I assume you also want Richardson out at your beloved Wasps then?
Lucky enough to be profiting from it, I doubt you would feel the same if they played on the other side of the city
Nah, he didn't even know who they were before 2014. He will only want him out if Richardson ever tries to move Wasps away from their spiritual home of Coventry.
Warwickshire Wasps will be at the Land Rover Stadium for a few years to come. Mark my words.
While we wait for the Sisu master plan lets just enjoy the football ........... and the Rugby if you can.
Couldn't make it up really.A Warwickshire team playing outside Warwickshire - you should boycott for that.

I take it geography was never your strong point.

Ignore the twat and he'll get bored.

Just found this corker on the Telegraph...what an idiot!
Clearly, 50 years of supporting CCFC have blinkered the eyes of Christine McGrath (Letters, May 13). I bet she can’t wait till August to see how else the owners have degraded her further as a supporter.
At least Wasps had the decency to drop the ‘London’ from their name when they moved to Coventry. When Coventry City moved to Northampton, they retained the name ‘Coventry’ and if they move to Rugby, they may well do the same.
Where’s the hypocrisy now? Surely the name of a team should represent the town or city where they play?
With Wasps having the confidence of investors for their oversubscribed bond scheme - that raised enough money to pay off their debts - you can’t help but think that there are now several degrees of angst and jealousy in these blinkered fans’ minds.

I don't think he realises it was only a temporary move to Northampton, why would the name change?
I can see the fans being very degraded if we get promoted.
Someone's changed the wiki page, apparently our capacity is only 21k at the Ricoh....

Must be taking the closed stand and segregation into consideration.
