It would be even quicker if our fans stopped going and also if they have a bad season but I suppose that is impossible as they are the richest rugby team in the universe
Given the trouble we are in no real fans would attend.
That would be the equivalent if spitting on Jimmy Hills grave.
Been admiring your work on the Cet site against the idiot Wollyback I don't believe there is a bigger twat in this city if he is real.
He admits to living outside coventry and worked for CCC for 18 years.
Still a twat wherever he lives.
Try growing up instead?Someone in the office wearing a Wasps shirt today.
I want to throw sulphuric acid in her face.

Serious note though it does annoy me.

The sooner everybody accepts that Wasps are here to stay the quicker we can move on. That includes Sisu if they still have any doubts.
CCFC need to work within that constraint as there is no doubt that they will need to negotiate with Wasps in the short term on Stadium and Academy.
Nothing will happen until the legals are dropped and Wasps will offer a higher but fair deal if the current deal runs out.

Can't help but feel if the crowds were under 5K people wouldn't be so sure stating they are here to stay. They seem to be here to stay

Not sure I want to know what goes on in your family life.... and if my auntie had balls she'd be my uncle.

Well according to a rather subdued Mr Eastwood on CWR it seems the franchise bunch are "hoping" for 10,000 tomorrow. Still of course more than the Wycombe fixture last year and of course everyone is obsessed with the World Cup (is that still on)?
Let the good times roll
The problem with making statements like this is they always come home to haunt you.
Nicky threatening your car park franchise again?
Frantically defending the vermin aren't you?
Only 12,280 today then?

Pretty poor for top flight sport, the richest club in Europe. That average is continuing to fall.Exactly
Embarrassing.
Make a point and then it goes tits up.
Sums you up.
Folks look! Assume the worst - Wasps are here forever...then think what is best for CCFC from that point on.
Personally I think that NOW we need sisu out of the equation.
What comes next heaven knows!

The only thing I'll say is that this is pretty close to peak Wasps. Stacks of money spent on the squad, tons of publicity, big name players, a season or two of giveaways to loss-lead fans in.
Even if Wasps win the Prem this year, there's not much more that they can achieve, so ultimately attendance-wise things aren't going to get much better than this for them. What we're seeing at the Ricoh is the reality of a minority sport. I love rugby, but attendances and interest except for the odd big game are never going to stand up to football.
It might do, if there wasn't already an established football and rugby team in the city. Although they might be able to get at least one of those blockages moved. That said, the people of Coventry, apart from a boom period in the 60s / 70s, have never really supported their teams in the sorts of numbers Wasps want.
Then again, we don't know what their projections are based on. Perhaps 12k crowds is enough.
I saw an article the other day about them building a hotel, do not know where but they have a strategy to expand as a leisure business.

and I just found this one about an indoor leisure centre near the Ricoh

Who's money will they use this time though.
It's bollocks - it's spin spin and more spin.
Rumplestiltskin ?It's bollocks - it's spin spin and more spin.
They've been fortunate in that their win record at the Ricoh has been pretty sensational for the past 2 years now, I honestly thought their attendances would be higher now due to winning a lot of matches and building momentum. If they hit a proper slump and have a bad year or two it will quickly drop to 6-7k. The loyal Wasps fans who followed them before the move will stop travelling up every week will eventually drift away if the success doesn't continue and the day trippers and bandwagoners will lose interest.Pretty poor for top flight sport, the richest club in Europe. That average is continuing to fall.
