Thing is if we really achieve the promised land you will have 4 more days like today each one more tense than the previous

Can't remember the last time I was both this excited and nervous for a game. Huge huge game.

Spurs, 97, in the days when I still smoked. Listened to it on the radio and had so many tabs (and no little alcohol) that I threw up afterwards! :D

Strangely I wasn’t nervous about the league 2 play offs, despite it having more riding on it.
I think the previous 7 years had taught me to be ambivalent towards city. Since then I’ve fallen back in love with my Sky Blues
There’s certainly been some lows which made me think it’s not good to be too emotionally involved.

But then the highs bring you back in…

I had tonsillitis that day and felt awful anyway. The illness combined with nerves meant I was throwing up all afternoon.
I remember it was the first time I’d seen Sky use the “as it stands” table showing us as staying up and wishing they wouldn’t because it was tempting fate!

Haven’t slept incredibly well since the Reading win. I keep hearing all our songs and go round humming the tunes all day. I’ve given the wife an ear worm as she’s been doing it too.🤪
Me too even the Doug King one and I feckin hate that one

I feel like the lack of wifi will be a blessing today, I'd be all over the place if I could check the other scores and 'as it stands' table. One set of nerves about our game is more than enough.

Managed to convince myself we’ll probably miss out even if we do win today so I’m feeling pretty chill.

Of course, if Watford go 1-0 up at Sunderland I’ll instantly go back to shitting it.

Well we’re all going to be completely in the dark about other scores anyway due to the piss poor signal around the ground

Was up at 7. Thought I was feeling fine. My stomachs now churning and lunch hasn't helped

The wifi suddenly being shit is definitely intentional from the new owners. Works fine until you're on the last step out into the seats and then it completely vanishes.

I don't know what im doing, i could get lost in a phone box at the minute. Shitting myself and up until last night's result was happy calm and confident. That was based on thinking I was happy no matter outcome due to having had such a good season.

Well that is out the window, now i want a 5-0 win today and others to fail to get points..

Today is the first day I've had any nerves. I'd been firmly in the no chance of the play offs camp until recently and even the last couple of weeks have seen it as an outside chance.

But everything seems to have fallen our way and its now in our own hands.

On the one hand its kind of a free hit as nobody expected to be here, there was more than one or two people saying we were absolute certainties for relegation a few weeks into the season, but on the other there's no guarantee we'll get another chance this good anytime soon.

I must admit I think we will win as long as Birmingham don’t score early - it’s frustrating the chances against reading weren’t converted as the goal difference now would put West Brom out of sight.
I’m more worried about goal difference V Sunderland and Milwall. Hoping we can build a cushion today
