I don't think he's up to this level as a goal scorer he might run around and stuff for the team but when the ball drops to him he misses more than scores and that's too risky as you need to take almost every chance in this division

None of our strikers take almost every chance, so not sure why there are double standards applied to Bakayoko.

the thing is. and I keep saying this, who do you replace him with?
He won't be a big earner, we will be taking a punt on another lower league player with no guarantee it will work out, it's not like we have big money to spunk on proven Championship quality.

he’s not even a proven league two forward

No double standards and it's not a witch hunt he's just not a championship player would like to see him go to a top end league one team playing week in week out and see how he goes there

If there are no double standards then presumably you’re wishing the same for Biamou this summer then?

Also, he is (currently) our 4th choice striker.

People seem to want 4 championship quality strikers.

There are very few teams in this league who have 4 championship level strikers, nevermind a newly promoted team with one of the lowest budgets.

People need to adjust their expectations of our fringe/backup players.
yesterday he was our 2nd choice striker and failed badly yet again...how many chances does he need by Robins?

Id keep Max if I was the gaffer he's more composed in front of goal than baka. max is improving as we are going up the divisions unfortunately the same can't be said about baka. Max coming off the bench can change a game when we are chasing it and he must be on small wages I'd offer Max a new contract I wouldn't offer Baka one but that's just my opinion

Give him back to Walsall and we'll take Adebayo. Dunno if he's Championship quality but he's a better bet than Baka.

Just hasn't got the right mentality, so little killer instinct. Was prepared to give him a chance but it just won't happen for him

This allied to a completely non-footballing brain. He doesn't make the right runs to score or create space. Dunno if he just struggles to listen or concentrate when this sort of thing is worked on in training but it's the kind of thing you'd expect players to be doing as second nature by their early twenties it's been drummed into them so much.

He's willing to run around and seems like a nice bloke but maybe that's the problem. Many top class centre forwards are selfish shits who want to shoot everytime they get the ball then berate anyone else who does the same for not passing to them even if the pass isn't on.

it's such a shame he can't do this stuff because he's got all the physical attributes to be a good centre forward - he's tall, strong and quick.
