I've been reading Twitter and their forum. What league are they in again?

I agree that we're not a glamour tie but damn they've got some arrogance. I know they're giving it the biggun on how many tickets they'll sell but hopefully they don't end up the home end. We don't need the negative attention when the Cov cokeheads give them a slap.

I'll definitely go as I reckon they'll make some noise so it should be a good atmosphere.

I remember going to their place midweek in the 90’s it was a lively evening. Minibus into the town centre early afternoon.
Good old days!!

Worst thing about the twitter responses isn't the Wrexham fans, it's our gushing supporters tagging in Ryan Reynolds. Fuck sake.

It’s a fun tie, they’ll bring some, it’ll get some attention. Better than most sides outside the Prem and we should win it. Stop whining.
fun? it's a home tie vs. a non league side

only fun thing is fadz get's to beat his brother

Fully expect the club to close blocks 14 and 15 like they did in the FA Cup last season. It's going to be excrutiating. BBC commentators will be making constant references to how it is like a home game for them.
They only closed 14,15 and 16 last year on police advice because it was against derby and there was trouble in the game earlier in the season

Be lucky to get 5K home fans for this one even if they drop the price to a tenner. We’ve got WBA, Cardiff & Bristol at home over the Xmas period and will take 3K to Sheff Utd on Boxing Day. Everyone will be skint by the time the cup comes along. The club really should include the 3rd Round games with season tickets like they did years ago. Guaranteed 20k crowd then and decent atmosphere.

16 was open, but yeah, I know it was prompted by that. I still wouldn't be surprised if 14 was closed for this game. They might have to give them a touch above 4.5K, so will argue that they will lose one of 27 blocks of segregation so 14 will be closed for the safety of children and small animals everywhere.

Not sure it'll be that low. Minimum pricing for 3rd round is £15 I think.

We won’t even open the stand behind the goal. Really is a shit draw.

I guess, with this being very winnable, it means Preston away is almost certain to be moved and will be midweek yet again.

This is how I see it.

My Missus' cousin lives just outside Wrexham and has got a season ticket there this year as all his mates there are Wrexham fans and they're selling out their home games and travelling in numbers away. They'll definitely bring a good few thousand and will be a big day out for them and Wrexham can be a bit of a rough old place so no doubt they'll be a few big old North Walians happy to engage with our "coked up chavs".

Paul Mullin should be playing at a higher level and if you believe the stories he moved to Wrexham because of the "Ryan Reynolds factor" and supposedly agreed very decent wages plus also agreeing to fly him out to the States and giving him the full VIP treatment but again that could be bollocks.

Make it cheap tickets, try and get a decent crowd up there and should be a good tie!
