It has its place and it will have an audience, but equally there should be a place for dinosaurs like me who still like the 'outdated format' of the old Soccer AM with jokes deemed too risky. As long as the participants are happy why shouldn't we have a soccrette and a platform where we don't have to pretend women's football is as good and discuss beer, betting and football? That has an audience too and often the bill payer I'd guess but we're not catered for.
