I'm sure the vast maority don't support the move there. They simply cannot bring themselves to not watch their club.
Why is that?
So why can't they DO something about their discontent...that's all I'm asking Nick. I'm not asking why they go, I'm asking why they don'y DO something about it while they're there, if they care!!!

Using their kids as an excuse? What do you mean?
Maybe they just want to go and watch a game of football. Nobody has to explain themselves to you?
Maybe they don't think it will make the slightest bit of difference? Maybe they just want to go and watch a game of football? If you care so much then get yourself on the hill with a big massive banner, people may not agree with everything people on the hill say but they are there in the wind and the rain without fail.
Do you agree with petrol prices? If not, why aren't you stood outside the nearest petrol station with a banner?

Did i say anyone had to explain ?
I was just stating a few facts.
That would mean that there is a reason to go rather than watch a game - you can go as a protestor - turn your back on the game if you wish. So as the likes of you, non league sky blue John the two tony's and astute all see yourselves as 21st century Tollpuddle martyrs why dont yiu all go wave banners and protest. I'm sure sisu will cave in and we will be at the Ricoh in a fortnight. You will a be heroes.
Facts, or opinions?
Have a word with yourself mate. GMK is the home of the more mature and level headed posters. Do you really believe what you have typed.
I really don't think they do. Some people seem happier there away from all the hoi polloi, with the nice easy parking and the better class of individual present, and as this thread says, if they aren't happy about it, why don't they protest?
Let's start off a list of bullshit reasons mentioned for going to sixfields.....
1) using their kids as an excuse to go !
2) I just want to support the team not the regime !

They're not facts.
Oh, I see, so I'm using my son as a kind of "human shield" against the SISU death ray?
Prove it not to be a fact
Prove it not to be a fact that in the eyes of the world, Sisu and the football league. That the presence of 1500 supporters does not validate their decision to be playing home matches at sixfields ????????

You may be right ...but what are YOU doing about it! I'm interested to know what you are doing to highlight YOUR discontent...
@ torchomatic....1) using their kids as an excuse to go !............................................................How can you deny this??? You actually admitted it in one of your posts from about 6 weeks ago.

It is an opinion. It is also an opinion that nobody other than CCFC fans and the odd hardcore football fan that in general fan really cares about us.
If you want to be dramatic and use humour to avoid the real reason.
Maybe they just want to go and watch a game of football. Nobody has to explain themselves to you?
Really? So the same applies to Cov fans not giving a shit about other teams and only really bothered about all things CCFC. If that is the case then why did some on here call Cov fans hypocrites for wanting to go and watch their football team against MK Dons?
Nick that is such a feeble, piss poor, weak justification for setting foot in a crappy cowshed of a stadium in Northampton to watch Coventry City's home games.
Yes, everyone is entitled to take whatever stance they want on this. They are free to do what they want but please don't attempt to justify attending Sixfields by saying 'Maybe they just want to go and watch a game of football.'
Surely given the dire state of CCFC, even you can see how such a statement will make the majority of fans fume at the selfish, short-sighted attitude of the few.
So he said "I am only taking my son as an excuse to go,
he doesn't want to go but I am using him so that I can go and finger blast Tim Fisher" ?
or did he say
"I am going because me and my son want to go and I enjoy spending father and son time like me and my dad used to etc"

No he probably wanted to take his son to share quality time and in the hope his son can see him shake Tim Fishers hand.
