Yep, I agree, the problem is though it all becomes scattergun at the moment, and really it's all our responsibilities to centralise it. Think a chance was missed for the Arsenal game in terms of a centrally led effort, and fear it may continue the cycle of sparse efforts... but we shall see and as you say there's no point in being negative now given it'll happen anyway.
Indeed. It's all our responsibilities to find that voice though isn't it? We're all culpable, I am for sure, and there was nothing wrong with the original question, it was a 'what can we do?' rather than a 'what can't we do?' but we maybe need to stop thinking of us and them, Sixfields goers v non Sixfields goers. It's us and us, isn't it?
So even if you don't go to Sixfields, even if I don't go to Sixfields, it's a 'what can we do at Sixfields?' rather than 'what can they?'

the first time i think i have agreed with you, a great idea .
Well it is probably time to stand up and be counted and make it clear we have had enough of being dicked around. Coming to the conclusion that Sixfields may have a role to play in this.
What people need to understand though that whilst there are a lot of people who obviousy think the current situation is madness, there are a number who go there who are City diehards - the sort who go to away pre season games, academy games etc. To think these people can be politicised is sort of missing the point. There are also a number who (whisper) quite like it a Sixfields and the thought of rocking the boat is not an option.
I and a few others are not happy to be there, probably lucky its not much hassle to get there but the enjoyment of watching the team overides the inconvenience. However this group(myself included) could be persuaded I think to take part in a well organised, meaningful form of action. What could we do in the remaining home games?

AndreasB welcome back from the dark side, to be fair you talk sense and you and your friends are in an ideal place to demonstrate, I don't goto Sixfields but you can make a difference within the ground.
If fisher sees a split with the home crowd then even he must know he's on borrowed time? Banners are good, vocal support are good whatever you suggest we all support your efforts
The banner idea of number of days that City have been missing from Coventry is a great idea. Purely a statement of fact and non divisive. Is anybody on the Trust interseted in supporting this as obvioulsy it would require a new banner for each game (I'm sure those in the know can suggest an editable version). Need to make sure it is visible on camera for TV highlights etc.

I think it is a good idea, it would work best on the side where the camera see though but when it is usually closed I am not sure how you would get it over there and seen.
Would be a problem there for sure. I wonder whether a suggestion could be made that fans could put Cov flags on that side to improve the look. Probably doubtful now that it has appeared on a forum. Idea is definately worth exploring still.

How about something with a touch of irony like ,"Get these Players out of Here -or this Shit hole and we don't mean sell them".
How about "X number of days since we played in Cov" And before anybody starts, replace the X with the number of days. Could even have it looking as if the number is winding on to the next day as per the Mau Utd one for number of years since Man City won a trophy. Keep it simple folks

To be honest, I think people would feel better (well I know I would) about the possibility of protesting inside the ground if they felt that those inside at the moment shared their views.
It might actually be a step for all those that go on about non-attenders getting up there to protest and encourage a few more.
While people think there is that split and they don't identify with those inside they won't want to be seen as "one of them" as it were.

Until the name calling stops. Until words like "respect" and "morals" are not thrown in people's faces. Until people stop being told they are "wrong", "helping to destroy the club", are "traitors", etc then it will never happen.

I'd agree...there should never be any form of judgemental comment...it clouds the issue and is sure to lead us away from the OP. It would be nice to think people could simply recognise what might be constructive suggestions in an attempt to restore our club to it's rightful status.
