Barcelona is a photoshop team, take away the false image and you’ve got this guy leading the pack and the others following behind their walkers and mobility scooters. (All joking aside their still a good team and have some quality talent)

Barca don’t give enough time for the new incoming youth they spend fortunes on to adapt! They don’t adapt their team for the new players it’s always based around their exsisting and seasoned players which at times has clearly shown and even moreso now that it’s not a sustainable model! Their dream team and their additions throughout the years have aged and they’ve not cemented people to follow in their footsteps alike they previously had in the past.

Theyve got to take a step down on the podium if they ever want to be at the very stop of it again! Bayern are a really good team I don’t even dare to discredit their talent however Baracrlona were dire and made Chelsea’s youngsters look like they didn’t totally get ran over!

Unfortunately I have missed the game this evening as is like to see the big heads of Barcelona get a bashing.

With Messi going through his annual I might leave stage to renegotiate his contract I wonder if they might just say clear off then and try to rebuild without his transfer interference.

Got to feel sorry for Messi (unless he has influenced who Barca have bought). Must be frustrating in the big games to have players so inferior to his ability in the side.

Only so much I can feel sorry for a guy who constantly angles for pay rises every other year, eating up more and more of the club’s budget. Barca are a financial mess, spending colossal wages on him and a few others without thinking of how to adapt the team. I look at situations like Tom Brady in the NFL where he won’t take his club for every penny in order to allow them to assemble a team and challenge. Complete opposite. What’s more, if Messi completes his contract (and therefore could leave on a free) he gets a €50m bonus. Whoever’s negotiating that needs shooting.

Agree, though would be interesting to see the revenue split he attracts for the club/ versus himself. However, although he is a bit of a one off, Barca shouldn't have allowed themselves to be hamstrung financially, or politically over one player.
