Absoutley shocking today. Singing To Billy Sharpe "Wheres your Baby gone?"

If you get done for racist chanting they should also be done for that!

Disgraceful Fans!

If true and Barnsley "fans" were chanting "wheres your baby gone" to Billy Sharp then my faith in our society has taken another big hit...

Probably just a very small minority of idiots. Trouble is it's these twats that give football a bad reputation.

Any Barnsley player worth his salt and heard that would put a transfer request in and any team due to play them will give that extra 10% to send the bastards down.

They didn't sing anything

Billy Sharp said he didn't hear them sing anything of the kind

And a sports Journalist said he was at the game and didn't hear anything

As Sutty says, if true, it was probably only a small minority but nevertheless absolutely disgraceful.

If it was just one its too many ,its the sickest thing iv'e ever heard ,i truelly hope they suffer the ugliest possible grief in their personal lives ,way beyond banter ,anyone who's suffered that type of loss or even gone through the prospect of it,life is never the same .

Barnsley FC should publicly come out and say how shameful their fans have behaved

I can confirm my son was 3 months premature and weighed 2 pound and born see threw in parts with no bum hole and I would not wish it on my worst enemy or on anybody and for anyone to even be contemplating wanting to sing such a thing deserves no place in society

Why would any player put a transfer request in? It's abviously a small minority and THEY should be punished. If it is true those fans are thoroughly sick and don't deserve to be allowed into public entertainment events.

Damnit! In which case people that spread these rumours should be punished. Idiots.

I'll tell you why, if their top player put a transfer request in and said he didn't want to be associated with a club with fans as sick as that it would carry more weight than any ban or fine on an individual.

Fucking sick individuals who are even wanting to spread such things, sorry but this is something very close to me having spent months of sleepless nights praying the phone never rang

I'm sorry but that's really wishful thinking. It's not morally wrong for any player to stay at that club so why would they feel inclined to make that sort of a statement? Anyway, it seems they didn't chant it so none of their top players have to do anything so drastic afterall!

It didn't actually happen did it?

"There's nothing worse than the British in one of their fits of moralirty"

Particularly when manufactured.

Saying that, if it did happen, bloody awful, had a lot of respect for Ipswich fans when they applauded after he scored against them at Portman Road.

Our "She said yes Marlon" chants not exactly putting us at the top of the righteous charts either.

If it didn't happen thats good news and I would withdraw any anti Barnsley fan comment. Just how these things gather momentum i don't know. I think playing Doncaster is a bit of a Yorkshire grudge match but wouldn't excuse horrid chants like that.

Agree with most of it LSI but sorry if they did say it or if people were tweeting they said it then sorry but they are not right for society in my book because of what it is about and being so close to such a thing myself, and whilst I did not agree with the Marlon thing there is a differance in the fact it was not a child dying.
Yes still a victim I agree of a crime and yes that person has feelings but I did not approve of the song myself, and so I feel there is a big differance between both cases.
This is my opinion based on being so close to such an horrific thing, and some may say other but that is upto them and I am not having a sudden sense of morality but understand what you are trying to imply.

Sorry forgot to say I share your sentiments regarding the Ipswich fans wholeheartedly especially in this day and age it is nice to see common descensy (however you spell it) still exists.

I think its obvious that we all agree its awful and discgraceful as I'm sure real Barnsley fans would agree and would hate to be tarnished with, but as it didn't happen and the thread constantly is turning in circles of all agreeing to the same point, please close this thread mods. Tyia.

Not a problem ICHAN, obviously, as i said, anybody who was chanting such a thing would deserve to be hung up by the knackers, but the problem with the internet(in general, not just Twitter, Facebook etc.), is people jump to instant conclusions on hearsay without fact(not alluding to anything recently on here the last few days of course;))

Lots of people felt uncomfortable with the signing of Marlon King because of personal reasons concerning abuse of women, and to then have it celebrated in song by City fans very bad taste.

Hope everything okay with yourself?

I tink it would take a pretty inhumane person to take the piss out of this, even if I were next to them I'd have to say STFU
