Departing shortly, shame I like him...but I suspect even if he was at his 'Liverpool interested stage' he wouldn't fit into Elvis's plans.

Not sure where he is going but deal has been done.

I actually think he changed the game when he came on yesterday, always looked forward, where as Daniels was sloppy with his passing and went backwards every time ..

Yip I have always rated him, defensively he isn't great but he is a player...compared to someone like Jennings who had the turning and passing ability of a cart horse.

Just didn't happen for him and when he got the occasional opportunity, didn't grab it with both hands IMHO!

Thought he was great yesterday, calm on the ball before he came on we were pinging the ball around at speed but passing to their players more than ours, refreshing to see his touch and vision, however not an SP type player and may be considered a luxury in a small squad.

Don't rate him overall, Letting him go is for the best so we can bring someone better in.

I'd accept that, weirdly we need to replace Barton more than Christie. Unless we plan to have Daniels, Moussa and Baker as backup in the middle.
