Bassette Shithouse Appreciation (17 Viewers)

I don't mind the winding up at all, but I found it really embarrassing, him rolling around on the floor clutching his face, when their defender had grabbed him by the throat.

It was going to be a red anyway. There was no need to do that.

But I have no problem in trying to wind players up.
Every other team in the league do the same against us.

I'm fed up of thinking we are above stuff and seeing it done against us week in week out.

F*** em , we see it done to us every week. Goes against my grain as well, but if this shit is modern football.
You know what they say,if you can’t beat em,join em.

The challenge before it, standing over him aggressively, getting in the refs face, theatrics and now this as if i couldn't like him any more after his goal. Did worry me ref might give him a second yellow though.

Gormless twat Carr and his "waffle" ( as you put it) improved him then you think?

Or just a 19 year old that has good and bad games?

He does talk waffle. Just gibberish. I’m not sure how Bassette scoring (maybe, looking at it I think Eccles has a claim btw) changes that. I just miss an intelligent manager who spoke openly.

Think he handled the post match interview very well. Not letting sky put words in his mouth about basette being a wind up merchant.

I don't like it but you don't win with old fashioned principles in the modern game. As others have said, everyone is at it, sick of us being nice. They were all in there when that happened, love it

Personally think he needs to grow up. He's drawn the wrong kind of attention to spoil what was otherwise a very decent personal performance. I don't buy into the whole "well everyone else does it" argument either.

I think Hound can develop into a very talented individual potentially being a top league performer next season. But I also want him (or any player for that matter) to reflect the best on behalf of the club, city, and supporters.

No disrespect intended to any of you with a differing opinion.

I bet you clapped and cheered Hamer too in the corner didn’t you?

Sheaf had a quiet word as he was looking pretty excitable once he had been taken down in the penalty area - loved it when he nearly made the goalie at the near post 😁 just what we needed - Simms must be pissed !
