We have had a weather thread and "what are you wearing".

So... what beers are on the go this weekend?

Kronenburg on the train, real ales in the pub, whatever on the train home, more real ale in Northampton, and a curry with a couple of Kingfishers.

Oh yeah, an average (at best) game of football thrown in the break up the enjoyable bit.

Could get a few woodpeckers for on the way back to ease off the come down.

Either that or just go full on snakebites as it's only half the gluten then, always thinking ;)

I'll be taking a crate on the train (whatever is on offer in Tesco so probably something shit like Fosters) to drink with the old man whilst we get mobbed by Oxford fans (travelling from the Cotswolds).

Then as much as possible around Wembley so that when we lose 5-1 I won't feel as much pain. Hard to predict what they will have in the bars I don't know I'll be going into yet though, so my reply was probably completely pointless.

Do they let you just stroll on the train with a crate?

I can imagine it being standing room only :(

Used to go to the CCFC Supporters club on Freehold St and have a game of snooker and a peach Breezer on a Sunday. Magical days of yore

In fact, what happens if I get a bottle of orange oasis and fill it with that for the game?

Oh, I'll just be in the Coventry designated ones, but I haven't really looked at which ones are good or not. I think they are just down the road though.

In fairness I'll probably get a text off a mate saying where they are and end up joining them.

Is that £4:50 for a pint of piss or the beer ok.What's it like getting served in there on a match day been in before a concert years ago but can't remember.

Beer must be OK if you can't remember.

Lots and lots of ale.

London is pretty special in terms of variety and selection of real and craft ales.

We're starting around Farringdon and working our way in for 1/1:30 ish for a few around the ground to soak up the atmosphere.

Everywhere is going to be full of Cov and I can't wait.**

**as long as all those who can't handle their beer and want to fight the world stay away.

Yea, you definitely can't have bud or corona. Have you ever tried Brewdog Vagabond Pale Ale - it's a gluten free beer and really good. Brewdog Punk IPA is also GF (although it's not advertised as such) and is even better. Both are available in most places these days, especially London.

Another beer called Daura is also available in most places these days, although I've never tried it it's supposed to be a decent GF larger.
