Honestly, based on what?

There's a reason Villa are looking at Hamer and we haven't heard anyone looking at Sheaf.

Sheaf will have a great Championship career. Hamer will be playing for a PL side this time next year.
Go on then, £50 charity bet Hamer isn’t playing PL football next season.

It's a highlight reel for that particular player, what were you expecting? It's not likely to show the times Sheaf stopped him, played past him etc is it?
Spot on. I'm sure if I sat down and did a show reel of Sheafs best bits Garner-Hickman would look poor and off the pace.

I'd consider it, if it was a £50 Sheaf playing higher than Hamer bet.

They both may never make it to the PL, but I don't get what makes you think he would play higher.

Garner-Hickman bossed that midfield Saturday. He was brilliant.
Thats because we were playing with one less player until Kelly came on. Hamer was clearly injured and completely anonymous. I must say I didnt really notice Gadner-Hickman, I was more impressed with the right winger who was tearing Maatsen a new one.

Players like Sheaf are the ones that make players like Hamer get spotted by PL clubs.

No, I still think it. I just don't think it's worth a £50 bet, especially when he's currently injured.

However, a £50 bet that Sheaf won't be playing higher than Hamer is definitely worth it.
You’re the one claimed he’d be playing PL football this time next year… so you don’t actually believe it yourself then?

I do, it's just not worth £50. As I said, he's injured, he may be out for months for all we know.

I bet you wouldn't be a fiver that Sheaf was playing in the PL next season?

Sheaf will go onto play at a higher level than Hamer in the long-term.
Impossible to tell and much of it will come down to luck especially injuries. I feel Hamer is likely to go higher all things being equal. This is not criticising Sheaf as i have always felt he is a good player. But fir me Hamer has more natural ability and i wonder whether Sheaf's real lack of pace will stop him going so far as Hamer.

I think there’s as much chance of Hamer doing back to the continent Italy/Spain/Germany than the Premiership.

Careful, they'll come for you.

Quickly scan-reading this turned Gadner-Hickman into Gene Hackman. Shouldn't be getting outpaced by him.
