Shoot me down for this but sisu's thinking with Stevenson is most probably sell now for 2mill plus add ons because what sort of fee can we command if we dont sell this window and we get relegated to league 2?

I honestly think they just have no clue about the game. They don't understand player value or transfer windows or anything else. Just figures on a spreadsheet.
Which players have they stood firm and negotiated a decent deal on? I can't think of one. We've sold everyone at the first sniff of interest.

Nope, company accounts are made up to a set date, for the CCFC companies this happens to be the end of May. The accounts should be published 10 months later, i.e. the end of Feb.
The main issue is cash flow, generally for a Football Club the flow is highly positive for the short time season tickets are on sale, then fairly steady across the rest of the season and highly negative in the summer when there is no gate money. The transfer window in January provides an opportunity to top up a sickly looking bank account.

The personal tax year ends in April. Corporations are different. Their end of year is usually on the anniversary of when they form.

That's true. For instance. If a club goes out of its way to piss off it's fan base, sorry, customer base its hardly surprising that said customer base is leaving bringing hardship on said business.

No one has caused us to lose money. This myth that it's the fans fault is just that. When a club has no success crowds drop, that's all there is to it. If they want higher crowds, they have to get higher up the league.

But what I meant is we sell and don't even put just 20% back into purchasing a replacement. Someone who then could be sold for a profit at a later date. We are always going backwards. And then we are in competition for the free signings with everyone else.

True, so it shouldn't be a surprise we have to sell regardless of who we are blaming today. Apparently we've turned down two offers from Brentford, so maybe we're learning to negotiate at last.
