We need a couple of our own to come through and step up to the plate. But the fans shouldn't vilify or dismiss players after a couple of performances like G Thomas. Neither should the big players up after half a dozen decent games like Maddison.

They need looking after and encouraging. At 18, 19 even into thier early 20's player are still developing mentally and physically. If they dip in form their confidence needs protecting not lambasting.
