Was poor at Stoke last season too.You are not really comparing apples with apples though, McNally played in a back 3 with a team set up to defend and hit teams on the break. Thomas and Kitching have played mostly in a back 4 in a team, especially under Lampard, that leaves itself far more open.
McNally as good as he was in his loan spell was utterly embarrassed in that first half vs Luton at Wembley.
That's frankly a ridiculous comparison between the two comparative squads .Outside of the 0-4 drubbing off Stoke, Mcnally conceded 11 goals in 16 games with us here. Thomas and Kitching, despite looking better are conceding nearly 2 goals most games.

He would if he was here in the play off season, but was 21/22Maatsen scored for the Netherlands vs Spain. Think he might deserve a spot in the side.

There were a few scouts sat in front of us at the Sunderland game. I spoke to one from Wolves and asked him how many of our players are Premier League quality. He said two and when I asked if Dovin was one he said not quite yet but he has potential. Stupidly, I didn’t ask who the two were but I’d had a few by then!
