I’ve booked a box for my brothers stag do for a game in January and need suggestions for a decent curry house for afterwards please chaps? Nowhere too grimy. Cheers.
Royal Bengal in Earlsdon. Always rammed so you'll need to book.
Pickles in Spon End or the Railway club in Spon End
Akbar’s
However we got a takeaway from Asiana in Holbrooks the other night and it was really nice
You going to burn that one down too then?Best I’ve had was Shah’s in Wellesbourne but it burned down last month. Think he’s got a place in Kineton aswell. Bit far out from Cov I guess but only a couple of miles for me :emoji_stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Just for you, or will they pull their finger out for other customers too?Stag and Pheasant.
All live sports on the TV, good beer and the best curry in Cov for me.

I can certainly have a word for you but no guarantees.Just for you, or will they pull their finger out for other customers too?
So, just the two of us then.I can certainly have a word for you but no guarantees.
Railway Club is very average, generic variations on the same masala sauceHeard good things about both of these but never tried them.
The Lions Inn (The old Cedars pub in Coundon) is v good with lovely furnishings!
Ally's Balti up Earlsdon is bloody great food, not the smartest place but you can bring your own booze too.
Exactly. Hate it when you have to sit in the middle of a pub to eat and everybody is staring.Local pubs for local people.
You'll be fine with family, Nick, as it's really a restaurant and not a pub any more, unfortunately imo, but as a curry house it's good.Go past the lions inn most days, keep meaning to go in there!
IS the restaurant separate? When I go places and take the family dont like going into "local pubs".
We don't want any trouble heeeere!Local pubs for local people.
Will book it and get in one night! You'll be fine with family, Nick, as it's really a restaurant and not a pub any more, unfortunately imo, but as a curry house it's good.
Best to book as it gets v busy.
You must have a memorable face...Exactly. Hate it when you have to sit in the middle of a pub to eat and everybody is staring.
