Deserved? They are the biggest attention seekers in the world and get the seats they want given to them every week, despite the ticket office and Tynan scope insisiting to me they don't.

They do?

The buzz and atmosphere on the first game. I’ve been looking forward to it for years.

On a negative all the buildup about us returning after all these years etc to get beat in the first game and then the constant media characterising, “plucky Coventry” etc.

Being on MOTD again.

And do FIFA still recreate all PL team's stadium? If so, I'm glad we got rid of Wasps and all their signage in time. Not bought it in years but would have to if we went up.

Messi is available on a free, need Doug to pull some Richmond FC with Zava style magic.

Just tell him he’s signing for the team that’s for sky blue shirts in the premier league. When he then says where is the coronation street set just show him Starley Road - he won’t notice the difference

The Sky Blue Song will finally make sense for the division we’re in having successfully styled it out for 20 years.

It was of course originally styled for the league we were last in

I just think it says something about city fans mentality that we changed it on the way up but not the way down. Whether that’s a goodbye bad thing I’ll leave an an exercise for the reader.

Could that mean CCFC make the top price for a home ticket the same ?

Unlikely - given the season ticket prices if we go up i suspect we will massively ramp up match day prices

I really don’t like this sort of a thread. It’s best to prepare for the Championship . Good crowds, great atmosphere, MR still with us, SISU gone, Ohare back from injury, teams we can compete with ……

I said “if”!

its a fair point though, just enjoying the time where anything is possible. Like daydreaming your lottery winnings.

IF we go up, spend as little as possible. Accept the chances are we will be relegated.
Come down sort finances out and go again, same management team.
Add a few players and try again.

I don’t get this mindset at all

The means to invest at a greater rate in our infrastructure. Hopefully better facilities, better everything so if or when we immediately get relegated it won’t be such a long time before we’re back again

better players are better than better facilities I’d have thought
