IF we go up, spend as little as possible. Accept the chances are we will be relegated.
Come down sort finances out and go again, same management team.
Add a few players and try again.
Well that would be pretty boring, and if that were to be the strategy I couldn't get too excited about Saturday.

I am sure we would make an attempt to be competitive and I would be hugely disappointed if not. We should aim to keep our best players, and recruit sensibly mainly top end Championship players and from abroad with one or two experienced Premier league players. We will need some experienced heads, like Matty James in the first year in the Championship, possibly on fairly short term deals.

I agree, go up and have a go . It’s worked for all three promoted teams this season
But of those promoted teams, Fulham have spent years bouncing up and down, so they've had the chance to strengthen. Bournemouth have had a few seasons in the top flight, so were set up for it. Forest spent £oodles on an entire new squad, backed by a true mentalist of a chairman.

So unless we have the last, we aren't exactly a fair comparison. We,in contrat, are considering a new pitch at our training ground to be a triumph!
