Pretty well covered I think.Planning to watch the new Dexter but I guess like most it’s been years since I finished the original series.
Do I need to re-watch/read a summary or is it well recapped?
Only watched the first one.Landscapers has got weird. Not keen
Yeah!Only watched the first one.
Is this from the next episode on?
Yeah it keeps flipping and changing. Showing the filming set etc.Landscapers not keen be better if done as a gritty drama than comedy drama.
Watched Venom 2. Load of old bollocks.
Watched Venom 2. Load of old bollocks.
Post credits scene was the highlight of the movie. Features some great actors but was almost as messy as the first movieWell disappointing isn't it
I think the Venom/Tom Hardy character is really good but the storyline and pacing is so rushed.
Hopefully the after credits scene means they'll be involved in better films in the future!
I had the same feeling about Tenet, it was being too clever.Thought the first one was dross tbf so haven’t bothered with the second.
Saw Tenet last night. Can’t decide if it was fantastic or dreadful. Looking back it might have been unnecessarily complicated to the extent there were numerous glaring plot holes or I’m just too stupid to pick up on everything of relevance in it.
Hands down worst movie I’ve ever watched. It was fucking nonsense. And what was up with the sound??? Proper headache after watching itI had the same feeling about Tenet, it was being too clever.
Yeah, did you watch it in the cinema? It was like being in a war.Hands down worst movie I’ve ever watched. It was fucking nonsense. And what was up with the sound??? Proper headache after watching it
He’s a fuckin wrong unAnyone who watched Tiger King , there’s a follow up on Netflix about Doc Antle
Watched this over the last few days.Landscapers not keen be better if done as a gritty drama than comedy drama.
Yeah I gave up with it when they started having the characters stood there in a weird perspective watching stuff.Watched this over the last few days.
I'm still not sure why it was produced in that way and seemed like it was just hashed together and didn't work at all.
Verdict : What a load of shite.
That was really good, if depressing. The Bowie clip was possibly the highlight:
Probably worth a watch
No, I don't think they were being edgy and arty. I think the whole idea was that they were fantasists, so that was how it was played out. So one minute it was an old black and white movie and then the next, it was a western etc., so it did make sense. I can see how some found it off-putting thoughYeah I gave up with it when they started having the characters stood there in a weird perspective watching stuff.
I think it was trying to be edgy and arty but if they had kept it as a crime drama (like Des) it would have been so much better.
The actual story of it all was pretty shit too and not enough for a multi part series.
Also very good, if very sad-what a fantastic lyricist. Those of you musically bias might like the Phil Lynott doc on BBC 4 - very interesting look at his life - was a great character and fantastic writer of words and music
Yeah, the bit where they get on a horse? What's that all about. No, I don't think they were being edgy and arty. I stuck with it and enjoyed it. I didn't think it was brilliant, but the performances were a marvel. Definitely think Colman and Thewlis will be up for many awards.
That was because Gary Cooper was her hero wasn't it? He starred in lots of cowboy movies, so that's what I got from it. Cowboys ride horses.Yeah, the bit where they get on a horse? What's that all about.
