Filth on Prime. One crazy f***ed up movie with a great cast.
You were warned!!!!!Just watched this. What the fuck did I watch?
Shining Girls, Apple TV. About a serial killer and stars Elizabeth Moss, who's always fab.
It's really, really good and I would definitely recommend it.
I pay for Sky and it comes with Netflix, Paramount + and Peacock. tbh Sky fucked up my house move and since then I've been paying a ridiculously low price for everything (long story short they decided they couldn't install broadband so reduced my bill but reduced it by way more than the cost of the broadband).Out of interest, what platforms has everyone got and you do you all pay for them yourselves, or are they shared?
I pay for NowTV, Netflix and Amazon Prime and my missus has Disney+, so shares that with me (I let her share my NowTV) and I have just got 5 months free on Apple TV.
So, just wondering.

Got Apple TV as part of Apple One or whatever its called which I use mainly for the fitness app & music. Amazon because I've had Prime forever for the free next day delivery and then Disney Plus which is the only one I actually pay for as a stand alone product and probably the only one I'd keep if the others weren't part of bundles.
only really use it for the cycling tbh. got a knock off Pelaton type thing in lockdown. its very slick and upbeat like you'd expect from apple which I'm sure would annoy some peopleOff topic but is Fitness+ worth it? Was having a look and wondering if I could replace my Headspace subscription with it and also I want to learn Yoga and start running. What have you found useful on it?
Disney +, Netflix and Sky Cinema with the Paramiunt/Peacock stuff. The wife has Amazon Prime for all the shit she buys, so the Prime video is essentially free.Out of interest, what platforms has everyone got and you do you all pay for them yourselves, or are they shared?

AppleTV seems a weird business model. There's constant, long, free trials & bundling in with other things - a 6 months free trial if you have Sky at the moment, and the volume of content is low. But the content they do put out it very high quality.I’ve got Apple TV as part of my contract and have only just got into it. Some great stuff on there but I can see myself running out of content pretty quick.

Not sure it's sustainable on its own and not really sure what the benefit is in Apple running it at a loss, especially as they seem to put so little focus on the AppleTV box they sell.
Can't see this number of services surviving. HBO Max is binning off content as fast as it can as they don't even want to pay the residuals. They've got shows that have been made they aren't even putting on the service.
Sky is a weird one. Under the same ownership they have Sky itself, Sky Stream, NowTV and Peacock. Wouldn't it make sense to bundle everything under one branding?
I really liked the start of it. Thought it was going to be great, but was mainly put off by the ridiculous concept, inane dialogue and stupid decision making of the characters.Started watching 'The Rig'
Honestly, don't bother.
2 (and a half) episodes in.
Damn, in this day and age you'd think at least the special effects would be good... nope.
I'm finding it hard to even watch. Terrible. 3/10
Yeh. S2 of Valhalla now showing on Netflix.
Yes watched it all through now.Have you seen it yet?
Watched two episodes last night, meh. Will probably continue though.
None of the characters seem anywhere near as interesting or likeable as those in the first 3 or 4 series or Vikings.
Feels like they're constantly re-using the same set pieces from the previous show too and then the story is built around that
I agree, I’m trying to finish it but struggling since episode 3. Reminds me of Line of Dury, wooden acting and a non believable storylineStarted watching 'The Rig'
