Off topic but is Fitness+ worth it? Was having a look and wondering if I could replace my Headspace subscription with it and also I want to learn Yoga and start running. What have you found useful on it?
Sorry I know this is for a couple of weeks ago but would highly recommend the Peloton App. You can get a free trial, and I’m pretty sure Apple fitness or whatever is apples answer to peloton.

It’s so good - I do basically every workout except outdoor cycling on the peloton app. The yoga is really good too they have programmes as well as individual classes, all different levels.

If you give it a go, recommend Jess Sims workouts (any type) and Adrian Williams for strength stuff. Also Alex Toussant for stationary cycling (I don’t have a peloton bike anymore just use a normal spin bike with my iPad on).

Not being dramatic but genuinely life changing fit me back into working out…I need variety

I started warching Happy Valley from this current series, then over the last few weeks watched the forst and second series. I didnt realise it had jumped forward so far. Its a cracking watch, although I still see her as the barmaid in Corrie. Also watching 1899 on Netflix, from the same people who made Dark ( which I loved) but this isnt holding my attention so much. Im also finally gettong around to watching Broadchurch. Tennant, Coleman and Whittaker and McClure are fantastic.
Tennant was absolutely horse shit when I watched it in the cinema. Sound was all fucked up made my ears bleed and I just remember it was trying to be too clever. I would probably say that’s the worst movie I’ve ever watched

TLOU podcast is def worth a listen. Gives some background on the changes between the game and the show and why the decisions were made.

Sky have put the first episode on YouTube, won't embed properly because its age restricted but you should be able to click to get it on YouTube

Do you mean Tenet? I was originally talking about David Tennant. However as for the film, Ive seen it about 5 or 6 times in full, think its excellently done, defo worth another watch as you will notice bits every time.

Confused me too. I thought to myself Broadchurch wasn't shown in the cinema was it? 🤷

I couldn't get on with Tenet either. Too muddled and incoherent for my tiny little pea brain.

Hear nothing but good things about Yellowstone but have tried a couple of times to get into it but couldn't. Going to have to try again.

Some of the lines are quality

Eddie and Joan go out for dinner and she runs through what was on the plate , steak, lamb chop pork chop , gammon , fried egg mushrooms , Onion rings chips and a tomato . It was too much for one person I had to leave the tomato

Watching the Last Of Us has made me revisit The Walking Dead. I only watched seasons 1-4 originally, so enjoying that at the moment.

Just watched the 3rd episode of TLOU and was very impressed.

Excellent episode and it even brought a tear to my eye.

Guardian are saying that it could be the greatest TV episode of the year already.

What I loved most is that while the first two episodes were straight lifts, this one was only loosely based on the game and most of the time told its own story, I hope there's more of that to come with some of the other characters. Looking at the cast list I'm very optimistic

Hmmm, great episode, but best of the year already? it's only Feburary!

Game spoiler....
Bill in the game was a pretty cranky paranoid smart redneck, had set traps and lived alone (Frank had been with him but hanged himself after being infected).
Bill never mentioned to Joel about their loving relationship.

I've started playing through again and am just at Bill's town, there's a bit of dialogue where he mentions that he had someone he cared about, 'a partner'. Didn't pick up on that at all before but really stands out now
