Couldnt get into it :(
Only seen the trailer but it looks like a rip off of Brassic, even has the same guy in it. Is it supposed to be a spin off? If not wouldn't that have been the way to go with something so similar or are the trailers misleading

No I think it's separate but it's very much the same. Wouldn't be surprised if it's the same writer.

I got bored of brassic too

Time Bandits on Apple was pretty good. Used to adore the film when it was released.

Not quite got the same humour - which is no surprise - but still enjoyed it.

Apologies if this has been posted but I really enjoyed Cabrini.

After witnessing disease and poverty in the slums of New York, Italian immigrant Francesca Cabrini embarks on a daring journey to persuade the hostile mayor to provide housing and healthcare for hundreds of orphaned children.

True story apparently.

Walking Dead: Darryl Dixon is good
Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live was poor.

Yeah, tend to agree.

Felt the ones who live was a bit generic and samey. Nothing new. Quite liked it, but couldn't engage with it as much as Daryl Dixon and that HAS changed direction somewhat.

Went to see Longlegs earlier this week. I thought it was decent. Kinda unusual and not what I was expecting. A decent horror I’d say.
Cage goes ‘full Cage’ in this one.
The GLW enjoyed it, sort of.

Her big beef was that the film had Mad Nic Cage in the credits, but he wasn't in the film itself.

I despair.

House of the Dragon, felt like a penultimate episode rather then a series finale

Felt pretty much like it was a trailer for next season.

Also any suspense or tension of the whole "winter is coming" thing is completely removed knowing how much of an anticlimax it ends up being in Game of Thrones

Furiosa

Not the sort of film I would normally watch but I really enjoyed it. The tanker road scene fight was wonderfully bonkers and the best action I've ever seen.

I'm tempted to say it'll never be beaten. If you get to see it hopefully you'll agree.

I thought the first half was okay and the premise was interesting enough but it ended up being a bit silly and started to really drag. Should have ended about 30 minutes earlier.

I think it was also created just to promote his daughters pop career!

I really recommend watching the movie Kneecap which I saw tonight at the Warwick Arts Centre. It’s about an Irish hip hop band that sing in the native language of Ireland and fight for the preservation of the language.

All the members of the band play themselves and it won best movie at Sundance. Best movie I’ve seen in a while actually

Thoroughly recommend The Body Next Door. A documentary on Sky about a murder case in Wales.

Unbelievable stuff.

Now just started to watch Dead City, the Walking Dead spin-off, featuring Negan and Maggie. It's very good so far.
