I always thought Bidders had a remarkable straight hairline. Now I've seen the little shaved triangle I just can't take him seriously.

You could see he was struggling a bit to get things joined up with the wingers on his side, but he was far from the worst player today.Personally, I thought Bidwell did ok today. He does at least look to cross when he gets in decent positions, and he gets properly stuck in.
The goal was a defensive car crash; no cover from midfield and gaps all over the place. No one covered themselves in glory there, so to pin it on Bidwell seems harsh, imho.
Still the best option we've got at left-back, regardless.

Bidwell was fine today. Suffered from emc playing too wide first half.

He gets away with a lot of stuff that Dasilva would get absolutely crucified for.
I said the other day that I'd love to see us go out and spend a decent sum on an MVE equivalent for left back. Easier said than done I know, but it's definitely a weak spot.
