Anyway if it was really "Big news" I would have thought Linnell might have known what they were referring to.

Obviously just trying to sell the paper.

Obviously just trying to sell the paper.

But why? You can just go in the newsagents and turn over the paper and look at the back page. You don't need to buy the paper. It will be clear as day from the first 3 or 4 lines.

The offers withdrawn. See the thread ive just started.
This does not look like a spoof - so why is no-one else responding to it? Assuming this is serious news, it makes sense of how Doolally dropped Ken Bruce's name into that interview - a calculated move to focus attention on him. Ken Bruce has denied any intention to invest and so is saying there is no conflict of interest, so no reason to withdraw the offer. Which leaves me confused as to why it has been withdrawn - and very concerned about our club's future!

How about 'Coventry Telegraph at last agree to start reporting properly', this might be followed by some nonsense dross about having to respect the rights of both parties in the proposed takeover.
Either way they don't pursue the real reasons for the CCFC dilemma, notably we are owned by a 'hedge fund' (google it), who appear not to give a flying ***k for the fans of OUR club.
Having researched my files I find that the 1st mention of GH making an offer for the club was in March 2011, that being the case, SISU please explain, without media bull***t, why it is now August,
I rest the case of true SKY BLUES,
over to you SISU.................... PUSB
