Yeah, story is the same, Hoffman has pulled out of any takeover deal. Reason is that the investors were furious with an email SISU sent them casting doubt upon their character. Also SISU have been leaking the names of the investors to the press and said investors were receiving numerous phone calls about it.

But that is different - Sun story says pulling out because of breaking fa rules over allardyce involvement and youre saying telegraph says pulling out because of breaches of confidentiality. Hoffman knows what sort of people Dulieu etc are and what tactics they would stoop to so find it hard to imagine that they're surprised by breaches of confidentiality and would kill the deal over them. Bloody hope not anyway.

Wonder if its hoff side trying to stoke up the anti SISU mood - ie Dulieu deliberately trying to kill deal by acting against agreement. Would make protests at Derby match even more vocal and this would make deal more likely and cheaper. Just part of the hostile takeover dance?

Could be trying to force SISU hand to do a deal before the transfer window shuts also stopping them ripping any more of the club apart ?:thinking about:

This just explains why Sisu made such a fuss about knowing the identity of the potential backers.

Any which way they can, they try to discredit and delay the deal.

Scum!

Why would they want to discredit and delay a deal to take over the club from credible investors when by their own admission they are losing a fortune every month?

Ah, credible investors might be the sticking point there.

CET..NEWS DESK..
"KEN DELUDES UNHAPPY CITY FANS"
At a news conference today Chairman Ken Delusion said Reports of CCFC demise were nothing short of Mischief making by "Stalking Horse" Garry Hoffman, he said, "rumours about Coventry City FootBall club being in trouble, were highly exagerated" but did admit that further sales of our players could not be ruled out, turning from orange to Red as he said it.
Asked about Le fondre, he asserted,"We Tabled a very good offer for the player...£300,000 and a further £50,000 if we won the league, but this was turned down, "This just goes to show, the greed that exists in the first division, so we must lower our sights and look elsewhere"
When Asked about the team for Saturday, Manager Andy Thorne Replied "Fact if I know, Ask Oggy"

Problem is that we clutch at straws don't we. We were desperate to get rid of Robinson and co. and hoped SISU would be better. Now we are desperate to get rid of SISU and are hoping that GH will be better. It's a case of better the devil you don't know. Surely our luck has to change though and one day the new owner will be good for us.

Morning All.
I know I'm very much in the minority, but i have a different slant on Geoff Robinson, although not entirely blameless, Geoff Robinson Invested, and lost, millions of pounds, investing in his beloved sky Blues, he had a passion for the club, and on away trips he would make himself known to the travelling supporters.
In terms of investment, he makes Sisu look like Car Boot, salesmen with their penny pinching funding of the club. Its probably true to say that geoff Robinson, and his co directors were guilty of rash and costly decisions, But here was a man, passionate about his foot ball club, and who did his level best to make it a success, personal gain, was not why Geoff Robinson invested in the club, unlike Sisu, who are not a bit bothered if we win lose or draw, as long as the numbers are in black ink,I can understand this mentality, of cause I can, but we all realise, that you cannot run a successful football club without losing money, and if sisu doesn't accept this, then they should consider"The Offer" and move on, before the final nail is banged into the coffin of CCFC..
