Fook it. The less fans the better, not the more!!! When we have a big following we fail, when only a couple of hundred turn up we do well.

Can't you all go and get your money back?

Would take much more if they gave us more tickets. If they can't sell out as well they don't deserve to be in the Championship, although a lot of their fans have given up on staying up.

3-1 to Cov.

Got relations in Bath, so will spend a few days after the game drinking my uncles beer and whisky. Its a regular away game for me. make a fantastic Easter bank holiday weekend if we win both, would'nt it !!

Feel in my bones that a early goal at Bristol will see them capitulate,(thats a long word ,for me).

Come on you skyblues

Yes. The best example being Man U away in the Carling Cup ;)

Surprised teams like saints, west ham, Leeds and Cardiff off the top of my head wouldn't have sold out the away end as we have. Biggest away following! Is it just Bristol City spin to get more of their fans turning up?

How can they get away with selling home tickets for £10 and away at full price. I thought promotional prices had to be given to home and away fans?

The support is out there as we all know. A little worried about the thread saying the club has only taken 1000 tickets for Southampton last game of season. If true that would be criminal.

Think that the agreement over admission price betweent the two teams only stands for cup games where the income is split.

Time for a change then isn't it. It will be loud. Of that I am sure.

We have always made more noise than their home fans when I have been there. Anyone will think we are at home if listening on the radio. Anyone going away for the first time will wonder why the home games are so quiet. We are too spread out at home. All crammed together away and more beer before the game helps. Wish I could make it.

I don't think its that - its just that generally, ALL away fans are louder than the home fans. Same all over the country. Man U get slated at home, but their away following is as loud as anyones. Just how it is. The song should really be "You're supposed to be away"

er, so i take it we have sold out saturday ?

Considering it only holds just over 20,000 if I remember correctly, home tickets for a tenner and away sold out a week before the game, on a bank holiday and their biggest game of the season.

So your point is?

I wouldn't go as far as that, but yes, the fans that travel to away games do sing more. Some a lot more than others. Brizzle fans are normally quieter than most.

the key thing is not to lose . 2 draws in the next 2 games, will not be a bad thing

I could see us then losing at burnley with 4 points from the following 2 games

even then bristol would need another 6 points to catch us , which may be too much for them

just looking where they have picked up their points this season

only 9 wins but
did the double over southampton/ leicester and millwall together with wins against doncaster/barnsley and burnley

you could argue that they turn it on for the big games based on that
