We fell short to due a lack of squad depth, as demonstrated by the end of season form. From what’s been said it was very much a King policy; personally, I’d rather those kind of decisions were left to those with actual experience in the game.
I understand the point and I don’t dislike loans either but I think the owner of the club with a proven track record in business has to be the one who determines the business plan, not the football manager.

Our plan is to predominantly have our own players, who we can develop, trade on , and bring up the average capability of the team.

Managers naturally always want proven players because they are judged in the very short term. You never ever hear a manager say we just need a sprinkle of younger players …. If you let them determine the business plan you end up in a mess like almost every club Harry Redknapp managed ….

Fotmob have the transfer figure of £860k. Not sure where they get this but seems a random figure to pluck out of thin air.

Exactly adding a couple more to a squad lacking in depth would have been pointless. Just look at Ipswi….oh wait.
Indeed. A couple more in January and we would have probably have made play offs, and who knows maybe be in the Premier League now.

Binks obviously very impressed by MR and Adi in his loan spell with us last season. Great to buy a player who appears to have developed an affinity for the club. I think that he will prove to be a great asset.

We can't all be Ipswich though .
For every Ipswich there is a Hull City .
I thought we'd learned enough from our recent past about January windows and the rush to add to the squad

Would imagine they’ve probably just made it up tbh. Don’t know where they’ve have got the exclusive info from.

It's not a visa or anything, international clearance is a FIFA regulation for all players who are moving to an English club from a club outside of England, including other countries in the UK, I believe

Just bring him over on a Dinghy, won't need any Red Tape Bollcoks.
