One of Binks’s first tackles, he did a little kick out towards player, I thought at the time what a fucking stupid thing to do, thank fuck he didn’t connect, as he would have been off
Shows that he just doesn’t have a team mentality, he just doesn’t think

I think Kitching has been our best performer outside of Rudoni since New year

He was unreal today aswell, headed and cleared everything and won every tackle
I’m yet to see Kitching play like a £4.5m CB when he doesn’t have Bobby Thomas next to him. That includes today. He’s capable of good performances here and there but he’s been extremely poor value for money.

I don’t know if many teams could make the same claim but we regularly concede not just soft but downright laughable goals. Clearly a defence coach of similar calibre to the other ones is what we need.

For a team in 6th place, we really do concede some goals that are just amateurish.

In the top half, only Sheffield Wednesday have conceded more goals than us and we’ve even conceded more goals than Derby, Hull and PNE.

We need investment in that area of the pitch. If we can concede 10-15 less goals next season, we should comfortably be a top 4 team.

I know what you mean but looking at our 58 goals conceded,
With Dovin in goal 28 games 30 goals conceded 1.09 goals per game
With Collins in goal 15 games 23 goals conceded 1.62 goals per game
With Wilson in goal 3 games 5 goals conceded 1.67 goals per game
I know this is a bit simplistic but Dovin in goal for 45 games based on 1,09 = 49 goals, the same as Bristol, 3 more than Millwall, 2 more than Blackburn, 5 less than Middlesboro.

One of those can't be right, we've only played 45.

Binks and Kitching at the centre of the defence were under non stop pressure today for an hour from the 12th minute.
Binks deserves full credit for the part he played in that rearguard action.

Yes, he should have sorted his feet out and cleared their goal but responsibility for it rests with Collins for another moment of total goalkeeping madness.
that clearance by Binks screamed tiredness. Brain made a poor decision to go with his wrong foot, then his legs made a tired clearance.

He's ever so slightly to blame but 90-95% has to be on Collins.

He was very good yesterday.
Agreed, Kitching was solid.

I don’t agree with this passing the armband around which has happened a bit lately. Make Kitching captain on Saturday and get the whole team wound up and primed to put in the 90 mins of their lives.

He was very good yesterday tbf, Luton bombarded the box, and had numerous corners, and yet the defence looked nailed on to keep a clean sheet until they had the rug pulled from under them by that prick in goal. (Still fuming)

Kitching has been solid since Lampard put him in against Norwich.

Robins’ decision to start Lati and Binks this season was a massive lapse in judgement.
